ffsIm ok with that
ffsIm ok with that
Is it possible there's such thing as a mutually beneficial transaction?Your all looking at it wrong.......
Ryles is using him as a stop gap.
Big Dick Ryles doesn't get played..
That's for merkins who come through your system and leave before playing first grade. Pezet will definitely be doing some f**king in his 12 months here. We can use the time to cruise for some other scrubber. This deal is a cucks fantasy.
it’s like having a 12 month engagement. You get to hold hands, pay for all the dates and pay for her car when it shits itself. If you are real good you might even get a kiss on the cheek and blue balls.
But once those 12 months are up she runs off and f**ks the rich good looking merkin with a glorious head of hair.
We will only be paying him for 2026 so why expect more? If he leaves a better player, he will be worth whatever Broncos dollars he ends up getting.I get that - Brisbane is 1000% a better prospect than Parra - which is why we know we are just being used for 2026 for the $$ and first grade reps - which is why it is a dud deal for us. Great for Pezet, great for Anasta, great for Broncos.
If true.To be fair we have heard a lot from Ryles this year about him driving recruitment. If he accepts this deal then he has just been blowing smoke up our arse.
What makes this even worse just listening to Michael Carryannis on SEN now and apparently we actually wanted to sign Pezet on a long term deal but he has chosen to go to Brisbane instead.
Yet we are still happy to just take him for one season until he gets to his preferred destination.
How embarrassing is that…
What has any of that got to do with combinations? Hunt had played five games with Walsh before this year, zero with any of the other spine players.he's the second most capped player in the history of rugby league, and played 30+ rep games for QLD and Australia.
If you are comparing that to Pezet you are a dead set simpleton.
They are at least first graders and both better than Papalii.we have 2 centres that wouldnt make any other starting 13 in the comp.....
As long as the team wins enough games, I hope we do.We need to give him time. There is no one better than Ryles. I reckon we give him at least another 9 years.
6 wins should be enough for Ryles just like it was in 2018 with the roster he has next year.As long as the team wins enough games, I hope we do.
Do you think Ryles wants to constantly prepare for the future? 2026 is time to start winning.Ummmmmmmmmm you might want to have a chat to Ryles
Should we sack Junior Paulo so he doesn't take any valuable game time from forwards who will be here in 2027?Upon further thought..
"If True" The Pezet signing still makes no f**king sense..
That's 25 games that another player could be getting valuable game time as a starting 5/8.
Of course you do.I know enough to know the club is happy with it, and the benefits are obvious. He will improve our team next year, in our weakest position. We can worry about 2027's roster in just over a week.
That is his chair.Of course you do.
The chair awaits!!
Do you mean Old Sparky?Of course you do.
The chair awaits!!
He is a better 6 than any of our other options. That's all that matters. He's a stop gap/How is it win-win though Pou?? we are getting a non-proven halfback to play 5/8 for one season. I honestly don't think its a sure thing that Pezet does make us any better, I still don't see how he compliments Moses whatsoever.
You need to forget about how Brisbane might benefit. It shouldn't be a factor. Like picking Talagi in first grade last year. Without his 11 tries we might have won fewer games and run last.If we had of finished 5th or 6th this year and were just off the top teams and Ryles went and brought in an old head who was a proven winner who he thought could help us knock off a comp in one season then I completely understand the mindset. Like what the Roosters are doing with DCE (even though I don't agree with that call). All we are doing is getting another young guy to replace another young guy and helping him develop into a first grader for Brisbane.
We got rid of those guys because we didn't need them. I doubt we would have won more games. Maybe Gutherson would've gone as well as Iongi, but we had the chance to get Iongi this year. Gutherson left because he wasn't going to play fullback, not because we didn't want him to stay.We arguably would have probably won more games this season if we had of kept Gutho/RCG/Carty/Matto in our team this year BUT Ryles did the best thing for the team moving forward by f**king them off and he was 100% right in doing so. This to me is just a backwards step in so many ways.
I reckon they'll be professional and see him as a player who will help them win more games for a year. How do you think the players are going to feel with this dude rocking up knowing he is going to the Broncos in 12 months time?
I'd say that's because the player doesn't want to be there. In this case we know Pezet wants to be at Parra for 2026. Remember we knew Papali'i, Mahoney, Kaufusi and Niukore were all gone by the start of the 2022 season but they still played good footy and got us deep into the finals.it hardly sets standards or helps to breed long term culture. How often do you see teams struggle after a key player has signed to move clubs over 12 months out? there is a reason why so many are given early releases in these situations and that's when they are already in their system.
I'm not defending it, I'm explaining it. You merkins haven't even come up with an alternative explanation other than lOl RyLeS iS cUcK!!I actually think you make a lot of sense SOMETIMES but I think you seriously will do anything to defend every decision the club makes, is ridiculous bro.
I will be happy every time we win. You do you.If we win the comp with him next season I will happily eat my words and build a dedicated shrine to him in my household.... anything but though and this exercise will have been a complete waste of time.
