Putting our blue and gold glasses away

Did we think Iongi played for a penalty?

TBH, and IMO looked like he got hit in the head quite mildly. though like to see the replay again..
Copped bicep/shoulder to the head...it doesn't matter its reckless. Penalty minimum. So how does someone go to HIA without it being an illegal hit??? The NRL are going to punish us all yr.
Plus we don't help ourselves with our panic plays..
Dumb dumb dumb stuff
And we waited all off season for this...
I still dont understand how Grant is ever allowed to run...that is just shit game awareness

By the way, Pezet has been a liability, is he playing scared due to the sledging. No,passing game, no running game and that’s about it.
The Storm big 3 are dominating , but those 6 agains in the first 10/15 really took their toll. Still don’t understand the nothing to see here head shot on Iongi, then the blind bunker official passes on that it’s caused a HIA.
Then there’s the commentary, basically Storm cheerleaders with Alexander there .

Points in our favour that contextualise the scoreline:

Played with a man down for 10 minutes for a dubious sin-bin which was clearly a head clash and not a shoulder

Scum first try on the back of a six again on the fifth followed by a penalty and another 6 again.

Scum got 2 x 6 agains on the last tackle meaning 2 x 12 tackle sets. Eels 6 agains and penalties were on first tackle and seemingly just square ups for the post match count back.

Harry Grant try the Scum player of the ball took out the markers, should have been a penalty to eels.

Abysmal ball control from Eels possibly from overcompensating for clearly one-sided refereeing.

Eels look the better team in attack but immaturity resulting in lack of composure under Scum niggle. We need to learn that the ref will always favour scum and we have to withstand the one sided penalty storm.

Want to see Ryley Smith get the little things right in the 2nd half and not over-play his hand.
