Hard work and dedication beats talent every day of the week.

I quite like Milky at 4. He was a real scrapper tonight, what you need when playing at centre.

Good to see Pickles and Bizza playing injury free too.

Thought the bench worked well tonight too.

Great to keep the premiers to 0.

He was on the wing tonight. Was beautiful under the high ball.

I'd love to see him try centre one day but after tonight we won't be touching that back 5. Its our best setup. Tago is at a crossroads now.

Tago steps up in big games that is why he has got such a run, He is back up now

Was a very clunky game of footy.. pretty terrible ball control by both sides.. but 25 degree heat and humidity and rd 1 will do that..

Thought the stand outs for us were yeo, dyl, garner and milky. Paps was strong to but a few lose carries.

PA did very well defensively. Probably bombed a few opportunities either passing to early or to late but otherwise for his first game at centre i a while was good.

As others of said it will keep tago out kf the team until someone's form drops or he demands selection and thats what you wamt in any position.. if hes not willing to do the hard yards then he'll stay on the bench or cup.

Phillips was also very impressive

Getting Tago out of centre is an overall positive but Alamoti is much better on the wing. Hopefully time sorts it out, stay the course now Ivan, don't backtrack like last time.

That was very satisfying. I do think broncos are very overrated, they were so lucky last year.
They already think they are rockstars and it doesn’t look like they put the effort in.
We were not fantastic but the Jenkins call was spectacular by Ivan, i thought he was best on field.
Philips looked good, Going so far had been bad every time I’ve seen him, hopefully he can settle in and show what the hype is about.

Gotta give credit to ivan i wasnt sure about the bench before the game but he got it spot on.We ran the broncos ragged, our fitness and relentness in defence killed them.Cogger and phillips did really well sorenson and going were ok without being spectacular. When henry and martin are fit they both should make way.

Pauls very powerful. He was good. As i said he bombed a few half opportunities but for his first hit out there in a while he was good and he should get a good crack there. The attack and timing should come.

Thought it might have had to do with edge defence.

Alamoti didn't really get tested tonight. We seem to swap wingers over as needed but centre is usually more important with decision making.

Are you ready for Lomax?

I liked the bench rotations too.

Also the width we played with early on. I think we came with a good plan. Errors and clunky play aside it was a good hit out.

Tested or not, He wasn't running out of the line every tackle. That makes a huge difference

Tago's deal had clauses for Origin. He is on about $600k

So it won't be allowed to be done, Still Tago is excess to needs at that money.

Very happy with the win and I get special delight from holding the Broncos to zero points for the first time in our history! I remember the Panthers keeping them to 2 points a couple of times but never a duck egg!

Very solid performance for the most part, even if quite scrappy in the second half. Broncos were woeful but Nathan’s kicking game and the team’s pressure contributed to that.

Interesting comments by ivan in the press conference re tago..

Said that Tago’s pre-season preparation had been “compromised” due to circumstances beyond his control. Not sure what that means. Whether he was sick or family member sick or something

Are you thinking of the 18-2 game at home? 1999/2000 somewhere around there.

I remember Girds kicking one from the sideline and fireworks going off after the game.
