Maybe we don't know the way to Avarillo.
We've taken over the billambel jets in the far north coast , also have a connection with Currumbin eagles
He might be asking for far too much, or just patient and fielding multiple offers. Just because a dude is still off contract, doesn't mean nobody wants him. He has a contract until November and there's not enough NRL players to fill 17 clubs. Now a new one is coming in. He doesn't need to be in a hurry. He's also in career best form.I for the life of me don't know why we are not going hammer and tong for Avarillo who is available - but strangely no one seems to be - is there off-field / training issues that make clubs wary of him? He's a very decent player on the field imo, so there has to be something going on around him that makes him not attractive to teams.

That's in my hood, and I've not heard that. They are a very good junior club with excellent coaches, and you have to be a decent player to get a gig there.
From AI:
Several notable NRL players played their junior rugby league for the Bilambil Jets in Northern NSW. Key alumni include Jahrome Hughes (Melbourne Storm), Ryan James (Titans/Raiders/Broncos), Luke Garner (Wests Tigers), Karl Lawton (Titans/Warriors), and Cheyse Blair (Storm/Manly).
