Same. Went into a random movie while the car was getting rego check and headlights replaced and turned out so good.

I generally take my older brother to the movies for his birthday....(he's 7 years older than me). He likes only English made movies.

I take him to this little independent theatre. It charges $12 cash, and you get a cup or tea or coffee with 2 arnotts biscuits in the entry price. I think it's great value. This year I took him to see 'The Choral' which was a brilliant movie. Not based on facts, but lobased on the situation in Britain during the first world war.

Even though it's 30 minutes away from where we live......we love it.

I could handle losing Martin, but f**k the idea of seeing him in a filthy Rooster jersey.

We don't want to keep Martin, we've had his best and it's time to move on

That hurts to hear Chins, cause I love Martin to bits. If it means we keep To'o, Leota, Cleary & Yeo I'll have to live with it.

Liam's knees and legs are showing (sadly) signs of wear and tear. If Liam is prepared to take a pay cut......that would be amazing. Sad thing is Martin has to maximise his earning potential with his next contract, and it's possibly his last big one.

Just plain sad Chins. Sad.

As Bill Walsh said 'it's better to trade a player a year early than a year late'

Some tough decisions coming up this November.
True. Some of the retention decisions may become clearer as the season progresses And decisions may be rather easy to make.

I so agree. I think of this especially with Martin. Love his work to bits but unless he overcomes these injuries quickly he needs to go.

They are the 3 that would be on my list too. Love all of them as players, but we need to make some tough calls.
Lussack would be a good replacement.

If Nathan signs a 2 year extension I would be happy with that. If not I am ok too. I'm just curious to know how they would transition out of it. Going back to the dark old days would be disappointing.

Hard to make a solid argument, especially at the price they will be chasing.

Alomoti, Garner and Lussick are all very capable replacements.

I will say though, it’s not an easy decision
Kenny is such a solid player. Hardly injured. Good to have Billy signed up he has been very impressive

The ones that will be the tough decisions are Yeo and To’o. All time greats but neither can get long term deals.
Yeo retires as our captain if we want to be a serious football club. Our best ever player will be the first to break 300 games for the Panthers and then be employed for life in whatever role he wants.

A short trip to the UK or France to end his career the only exception.

Tago, Martin and Kenny are replaceable.

I think Leota may be one of those we need to let go to earn a longer final contract elsewhere.

He is currently on $675,000 a season, and will turn 33 in 2028. So if we re-sign him for that year and beyond, it may need to be for a bench impact role on a much lower salary, if his metres and minutes continue to drop off across the rest of this season and next season.
