Spot on. Almost 20 years of impressionable kids (as well as every opposition supporter obviously) now associate Souffs with humiliation and failure, and as their aging supporter base dies off they'll be left with dwindling support and an increasingly hopeless team.

The funny thing about Bardbury is that he was in the final, so therefore had a chance to win it.

Just like the Tigers in 05, they were top 4, and smashed all teams on their way to winning a glorious premiership. Their finals fore and against was an impressive - 134 - 40.


Yes, it was unexpected, I will grant that, but to compare them to Bradbury is ridiculous. That is suggesting they had no talent. Refer Prince, Marshall Laffranchi, Heighnington, Richards, Payten, Whatuira and Farah, not to mention Halatau, Galea, Skando, Fulton, Fitzhenry(sorry moth), Elford, Gibbs, Hodgson and O'Neill.

So, I think this may clear up the no talent comparison to Bradbury for all normal, sensible and clear thinking humans.

However, I am sure that there will be a "well thought out" response from the great unwashed.
