You can't hide from the fact that you said he was filth and should be given a release. You can't have it both ways champ. And as much as I like Aiton as a person and a player, he is nowhere near as good as Priddo and should rank third at best. Masada is a GOOD player, but still developing. I think he should be given a run in the top grade to see how he goes, but at not at Priddo's expense.

Anyway, some of us have to work tomorrow so now that I have won this battle, I will bid you a good night!

even though i am a chooks fan, priddis is still top panther #9 in my books,
his work rate is top class and his effort off the field is second to none...
he is a great guy and a great player. the fact that you are thinking of putting a fringe FG'r in front of him is just a joke. i am a huge fan of his.

I thought he had a poor game on Sunday, put a few crucial balls down.
Priddo gives away a lot of penalties. He is considered one of the games serial nigglers (behind Gallen apparently). He pushes and he pushes around the ruck area. While he gives away probably a penalty every game or two, the benefit we see from this is best seen when he is off the field. He slows the play the ball down by pushing the boundaries.
He is an absolute gun, while he is getting on, his ability x experience still is better than Masada's ability x experience. Give him the rest of the season with 30 minutes a game and we might have a new champ.

I can't believe I'm agreeing with a chooks fan.......but Priddo is still by far the best hooker at the club.

I agree with you completely. Aiton will never be in Priddo's league. He is a fringe first grader at best.

Masada has the potential to be in the same league as Priddo (if he fulfills that potential), we will see how he goes in the next couple of years.

And I would much prefer to see Masada on the bench instead of Aiton so he can learn from the best, and Priddo stays in top spot.

And I'm sick of Elliott taking Priddo off for at least the last 10 of the first half and first 10 in the second half every game. If there was ever a player that is an 80 minute man, and hates to be off the field it's him.

Try watching the games a little closer, we lose direction and let in a couple of tries every time he's off the field.
.
Oh and btw......I don't know why anyone even gives Pantha Boy the time of day, let alone argues with him about his opinions.

He does not have a clue, and he's insulting and rude to everyone. Are you sure he's older than 6 or 7? Because he sure doesn't act like it.

I definitely believe we lose direction when Priddis is off the field, sure he gives away a few penalties (not as many as people think) but he really controls the ruck and gets our team moving forward. Aiton makes me nervous every time he touches the ball, he is always good for 1-2 forward passes a game and his running game (which was his main strength) has been ineffective this season, would like to see what Iosefa could do off the bench, plus he has added versatility as he can come in and play in the halves if needed.

I wish you guys would give Aiton a break. He is a great player but it looks like a contest between Masada and Priddo.

i agree abs when priddis goes off that spark in the team goes away.Masada will not only keep it going but ignite it more.I have lost count this year the amount of time we have let in tries just before and just after half time all periods priddis is off

Masada has had a few brain snaps in NYC. He needs a couple of great games if he wants a spot in the team. I wouldnt be suprised if Priddis is dropped for him. But knowing Elliot he would probably drop Aiton. Poor guy he hasnt had the best time here at penrith. The poor bloke only gets about 10 minutes game time.

Aiton was very effective 2 years ago in his role coming off the bench, would add plenty of spark and made huge metres from dummy half, unfortunately he has not progressed since then in any aspect of his game and has regressed in some, he fails to control the ruck, his distribution is poor and he has no kicking game. In today's game hookers need to have these skills and I believe Aiton has been given sufficient opportunity to develop his game but he has not responded, would like to see what impact Iosefa can add to this team.

this bloke, yeh thats right the one with the brains...

i have no problems with you guys putting iosefa on the bench, but putting him at No #9 ahead of priddis is going to hinder your finals chances.

it would be like us putting brent grose at fullback and mini on the bench

Pantha-Boy/Pantha WANNABE,

Do us all a favour AND ACTUALLY WATCH A GAME LIVE, fool. Also, do some research to back up what you are saying.

Aiton's game time stats:

Round 1 vs Broncos - 40 min
Round 2 vs Raiders - 36 min
Round 3 vs Souths - 35 min
Round 4 vs Tigers - 30 min
Round 5 vs Roosters - 33 min
Round 6 vs Sharks - 57 min
Round 8 vs Parra - DNP
Round 9 vs Dogs - 49 min
Round 10 vs Warriors - 46 mins
**Round 12 vs Cowboys - 10 mins**
Round 13 vs Sharks - 14 mins
**For some reason, the game vs the Cowboys stats were screwed up. Therefore, I'll give him the 10 mins WANNABE says is all he gets.**

This is a AT LEAST:
Aiton's total playing time is: 350 minutes
Aiton's total amount of games is: 10
Aiton's average playing time is: 35 minutes per game.

Priddo's still #1 in my eyes.

Whether Aiton or Iosefa is #2 depends on your perspective - Aiton does enough to justify his spot coming off the bench, but Iosefa is demanding to be picked for first grade, and could be an instant sensation when he gets his chance, and probably at Aiton's expense.
