Should never be allowed to commentate on a Storm game again...deadset forgot two teams were playing.

Even when Folau flick passed the ball to noone he gave him a wrap.

Its painful enough listening to him ruin Fight Night calls, now he has to do it to Rugby League too.

He is a terrible commentator.

He doesn't call the game, he shouts it.

He calls the entire play by play the way he would announce two fighters at Fight Night Boxing.

Loud, drawn out tonal drones give's me the sh*ts.

Worst of all, its not Fox Sports Active, so you can't keep the crowd volume and turn off the commentary.

Still think Mark Braybrook has it all over Raymond, but can understand the anger vented towards him.

Andy Raymond get off the air

My job is to help destroy
What's left of your imagination
By feeding you endless doses
Of sugar coated mindless garbage

How far will you go
How low will you stoop
To tranquilize our minds with your sugar coated swill

No he must stay on the air.

I said in this in the match thread but I'll post it again here.

He is HILLARIOUS in the early season games.

Players obviously try and handle their personal affairs (marriages etc) over the off season. So Raymond, in rounds 1 to about 3 or 4, usually says things like 'Congratulations to [player], he and his fiance got married over the off season' or 'he and his partner celebrated the birth of their child in the off season'.

Fair enough, right?

What's really good is when he runs out of kids and weddings he starts congratulating people on their cat having kittens or something equally silly. I heard him do it early this year, and I clearly remeber it last year.

It's gold.

I also feel like mentioning that after Warren Smith (who has an odd obsession with Exocet missiles) I think Raymond is the best match caller on Fox.

Damn sight better than Braybrook or the other main caller (whose name escapes me).

You cannot be serious?

The close talker can commentate circles around Raymond.
