The "Australian Society for Sports History" is hosting a two-day conference at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney on Nov 7th and 8th. The Conference is open to the public (prior registration is required - see link below).

The Conference coincides with the Powerhouse hosting the National Museum's "League of Legends" exhibition (5 Sept - 23 Nov), and is the day after the annual Tom Brock Lecture (NSW League's Club).

The Conference program includes two full days of speakers, covering a wide foray across 100 years of rugby league in Australia.

Attendance is limited to 100 places, so anyone interested in attending is advised to register early.

Full details/links for the Conference schedule, registration form, Brock Lecture etc are all available via the link to "RL Centenary Conference" on the front page of www.RL1908.com

Tony Collins is a bit of a scoop for the program. His books on the history of league emanating from the UK are fantastically researched and well worth a read.

Will proceedings be available after the conference? Either as audio or video?

I'm interested in a couple of the lectures, but can't get to Sydney.

I'd say that's a question for the Conference Organiser Luc, her email is on the page linked above.

As "Bartman" say, follow the link and contact the convenor. From my limited knowledge of the ASSH, yes, they do put out a published version later on.
