So Gyngell is saying 6.30pm is peak ratings time, but RL doesn't warrant a go in that slot.

The league semi will get at least 70 percent higher ratings than ACA.

9 are a joke - the NRL need it placed in the contract, that if 9 won't show the game live in Vic, Foxtel can on the main event channel, as they do with AFL in the northern states.
They are covering it with commentators anyway, so they're ready to go...

Not all of us have Foxtel SS! Maybe SBS or the ABC is an option? I've heard it raised before...

Pointless contractual clause IMO. What good is 12 am? Now, if they said 8:30 or even 9:30pm that would be reasonable. But Midnight is just an invitation for 9 to bend Melbourne over and stick a carrot up their arse!

What's going on? I swear early in the week I saw that the game would be on at 6:30 and last night on the footy show was the first I heard it was 7:30.

I noticed on the sidebar on LU that the game has already started as well, bloody useless.
