Not sure if it's been mentioned on here. Was on the news last night, he's turned to boxing and is being trained by Johnny Lewis.

Why is this in the NRL forum? I'm surprised he hasn't been linked with French rugby.

He was wandering around the city Wednesday morning in a suit, I assumed he had a day job now.

I'm keen to see how he goes. Johnny Lewis is training him and has a high opinion of him. His old man was pretty handy as well

I don't know if there is more money in boxing then a day job. Depends on your day job and where you go in boxing. There certainly isn't more when starting out unless you whore yourself out and take anything you can get.

There would of been more money in the uk or beam you would assume. If only he got his tackling down he could of been a solid 7 he always had the potential.

You never know how far one will go. Mundine made more money in 1 night once than he did in an entire season of the NRL. Sure it doesn't start off that way (as is the case with Williams) but as I said, it depends how far he goes. I'm also sure he wouldn't have taken up boxing unless he had some level of skill/knowledge/interest in it. Johnny Lewis taking a shine in him says things to me.

Thats because Mundine is probably close to one of the most well known Australian athletes. Joe Williams is well Joe Williams.

Really shouldn't have dogged Toulouse. He would have had a top-flight contract this year with some confidence under his belt instead of being clowned around at two of the sh*ttest clubs going.
