All Blacks have been the best team (80% objectively, 20% subjectively) in Union for 21 years. England were the World Champs for 2003-2007, but they were utter sh*te.

The Kangaroos I would still rate the best team in the world, but we are the "World Champs". It's a title I'll take, but I see your point.

I think Brian McClennon should take over the 'mentor' role of Wayne Bennett. Unless Im mistaken Bennett only agreed to coach the Kiwis in the WC year??? Kearney is still a developing coach and imo has still alot to learn before he can take the reins of the team by himself. The more influencial coaches you get teaching him in the box, the better he will be in the long run.

Plus Kiwis made it clear they didn't want a 1st grade coach also coaching the national side which is why Kearney fits the mould. Learning from Bennett, Bellamy and McClennon is a pretty good apprenticeship if hes in it for the long haul.

Agree....Oz have been very consistent and are the best team.

The kiwis won but will have to beat Oz again next year to be considered the best in the world.
