If you want Hilfenhaus so badly maybe he should have played ahead of the NSW hack who got spanked as usual

The batting could never make enough runs whilst Dougie is in the attack :lol:Mate we have no dramas getting runs, we are better served having an extra quick instead of a s..t "all-rounder" who is crap at both disciplined! Peter Siddle looked a better batsman FFS!
And if Nathan Bracken didnt drop an absolute sitter then South Africa dont hold the world record ODI score and Mick Lewis doesnt hold the bowling recordYet your Victorian all-rounder has done nothing, at least Bollinger had a dropped catch with his spell, could have easily had a wicket before lunch and it is a different ball game after lunch.
So if Bracken takes that catch Lewis only goes for 101?????And if Nathan Bracken didnt drop an absolute sitter then South Africa dont hold the world record ODI score and Mick Lewis doesnt hold the bowling record
If If IF, plenty of players have dropped catches, but they dont all get smashed all over the park

At least Bollinger created a few chance's, Steady Eddie whinged when we didn't cut sh*ttle some slack but after 10 overs he is ripping into Bollinger. f**king hypocritical Victorian.

Right now he's a clear no.3 behind Ponting and Clarke.Johnson is an all-rounder. A bowling all-rounder is still an all-rounder. How long until Johnson is Australia's best cricketer?
I guess a few years ago we didn't need one because we had the best bowling attack in the world with McGrath, Warne, Gillespie and Lee (when he use to bowl fast), and we also had a keeper who could bat aswell as any genuine batsman. These days we don't have that, Haddin is adequate but Gilchrist was a once in a generation type player and the current bowling attack is piss poor compared to what we had a few years agoI agree, the problem is that the Australian selectors seem determined to manufacture a test allrounder. I cannot understand why. None of the candidates I have seen, aside from Watson who is always hurt, look like genuine test allrounders. I have actually been embarrassed for Macdonald at times during this test.
It's like Freddie Flintoff's performance in the 2005 Ashes has damaged the Australian cricket psyche and now you guys feel you need to play an allrounder, even though during your successful era of the last decade and a half you never really played one.
McDonald bowled with a little bit of inswing but at his pace he will never bother any world class batsmen
he's not really a penetrating bowler
Bracken takes the catch and Gibbs is out for about 60 and none of the others would have slaughtered Lewis like he did plus he would have had atleast 1 wicket
Siddles first 10 overs were far better than that sh*t
He is again doing his job, and has a wicket to boot.
1/16 off 13.....
