I came in here to lend my support to the re-introduction of Norths to the competition as a Central Coast team. The Coast is a strong league area and they should have a team. Heaven alone knows they already have one of the best stadiums in the league. It deserves to have lots of games there and a dedicated team - rather than just gifting Newcastle 3 or 4 more home games a season as currently happens when the Roosters or Parramatta or the Bulldogs play them at that ground. Someone should take that area, and if Norths want it, then they should have it as not one of the 9 Sydney clubs wants a relocation.

However, I'm not I want to support the re-introduction of a club if your attitude typical of the supporters of your club.

Manly have proven that they are a great team. (No I do not support them). I don't seem to remember too many of the current Manly side having a past bathed in crime? Hopoate aside, who was a tool, most Manly players are a credit to rugby league, as are their supporters.

They were one of the first clubs to move towards professionalism and for that they should be applauded. They saw how to become successful and they became it. They didn't sit there "whinging" as you call them and expecting that world should give them anything. They fought for it.

You call them a disgrace? Why? Because they moved with the times, rather than living in the past. That's a great attitude to take. See what good it did Wests and Souths and Norths. All those clubs were victims of narrow mindedness and the inability to see reality and it wasn't until reality mugged them and left them bleeding that they started to believe what they were seeing.

Burying your heads in the sand or calling others names for their success, does you no good and wins you no friends.

Rivalry is one thing. Petty hatred is another. I just hope that when you posted, you had your tongue set firmly in your cheek. Because if you actually believe that drivel then I pity you.

So while they have now 'moved on', and norths/cc bears need to do the same, [and we largely have]we don't need history rewritten.

I'll be stoked if Norths get a team going on the Coast. I'm positive that things are moving along and your team will be back.
