At the very least - because of less teams - making it from April to September...

I belive the French have a sort of general holiday across the country in the very hot summer weather too which is another reason why they dont do it.

They were gradually shifting to summer a few years ago, it got about 2-3 months later IIRC, but they changed their mind (probably due to the heat and the summer holidays factor) and went back to the normal season

Probably worse due to summer holidays, but if they had a midseason break in August then I'm not sure

I think the first step is probably to get a Summer Conference going in France (is this already done?). I think it would be great, if the Summer Conference could eventually be set up to find a European Champion.
