Two more signings for 2010.

I just logged on to the WT website.

The first headline I see is: Two more signings for 2010.

So I think you beauty who have we signed now?

I go into WTV and lo and behold the signings are Alan and Jason Schirnack.

They have been signed into the top squad.

A prop and a backrower.

How can we sign them when we already have them, very deceptive.

They both go ok, but I don`t know what they`ve done to be top 25 material ???

Very sneaky indeed, "new signings" and its two juniors signed to the top 25! Still, Alan has looked good in his few games, certainly no worse than Payne or Halatau over the last couple seasons.

Is Wayne Cousins able to get through ONE taped interview without stumbling over his words? What a mong.

They were probably cheap, minimal upgrades just to ensure captain klutz actually has a 25 man squad for next year from the get go.

Does this imply that external player recruitment is done for the year guys?

Given that Aranda Taumata and Adam Woolnough were supposed to have signed with WT weeks ago and nothing has been announced formally I'd suggest there are some major difficulties on that front with those 2 possible external signings.

I'm happy enough with the signings, only suggest 1 more prop with something of a reputation as a signing and the rest can come from feeder competitions.

With the current line up (inc Gallant) I'm happy with backline and depth, same with halves (if Dunley & Lewis are retained- no word on that yet), back rowers WT are always good for that, props OK but skinny on depth and hooker Farah and ??? in reserve. Are WT keeping Carr (we signed him from Newcastle I think last year) I hope Halatau moves on to fresher pastures (eg Souths) but he may be the back up hooker for Farah if retained in the 25 man squad.

Looks like WT are almost there. Coach still remains the big issue...... (left over funds channeled to paying Teflon out and getting a new coach for 2010 anyone?). That would be nice........ Nothing personally against Teflon but he's stale at WT and we need change for WT sake- new ideas etc. If Teflon does stay on for 2010 I can live with it- at least it will be the last year he can stuff around with the players heads and play his favourites.

Robert Lui was announced as being part of the top 25 as well - I am getting worried, there are not many spots left now for Shannon Gallant.

Reckon its safe to say if Teflon has any say in things Gallant will have to fight tooth and nail to get a contract with WT- Sheens just does not like him.

Suspect if Gallant has any chance Humphreys may have to get involved. If not, hello NSWPD and Goulburn Police Academy for Gallant- at least he has a good surname for the police.................. NSW Police gain, WT loss.

Ink,

You are 1000% correct,

I went to the site saw the headline and thought well, here we go anticipating a couple of big name signings and end up watching a video clip of Simmo and a stuttering imbo Cousins telling me two juniors have been moved up to the 25 man squad. Whoopeeee
