There is no way in the world he was fit to play. I can only recall him getting tackled once and missing tackles. His face also did swell up, to indicate the injury hadn't healed.
He seemed to make a lot of tackles. Didn't really take a step back... courage, leadership etc. But the Dogs' execution didn't really fall into line behind that tonight, including Kimmorley's kicking game in the second half.
A brave man that came back early to try & lead his team to victory against the form side. He tries hard, doesn't play his best, as most would expect after coming back early after a month off, and his own fans talk crap about him.

the month out played more of an impact than the injury he brought into the game. his defence and the knocks he took showed he wasn't too worried about the cheekbone, but his timing and fluency was all out.
