Does anyone have a wallpaper sized image of one of the past premiership winning teams? Or of this year's minor premiership winning team with the Shield?

Also, does anyone know where I can find decent resolution about 200x200 pixel images of the following players:

Langlands, Johnny King, Reg Gasnier, Billy Smith, Lumsden, Brian Clay, George Evans

Thanks in advance

I just found this:

Can anyone help me identify everyone? I can't get match some of them even though I know everyone in the '65 team.

1. the website showroom.com.au has a photo of the 1966 team with names (navigate to the appropriate year). You can match the faces and names of the '66 team to your '65 photo.

2. If that fails, Icons of Sport sell that '65 team photo with names. There is a link (cannot post it due to having less than 20 posts)

Unfortunantly, you cannot make out the names if you zoom in. You may have to go in to icons of sport to see it in person if option 1 doesn't pan out.

3. You can always check if the leagues club has the photo on display.

I know in the front row you have Poppa Clay (far left), Johnny Raper (2nd left), Reg Gasnier (3rd left) and Norm Provan (centre).

Yep spot on.. continuing to the right, you have Mark Coyne, Jeff Hardy and Noel Goldthorpe.

Backrow l to r - Matt Rodwell, Graeme Bradley, Ian Herron, Tony Hearn, Neil Tierney and Willie Peters..

Good bunch.

It has been moved to http://www.jubileeavenue.com.au/history/

Scratched my head for a good 2 minutes there :p

Well '65 was my favourite team, especially the backline. I play and coach touch football and I play left centre so everyone in the backline of the early 60's is my hero pretty much (despite the fact I have supported St George only since 98). I recently purchased a DVD of 'The History of St George Football Club from 1921-2000' and I just fell in love with their ability and class. In the highlights of all the grand finals on the DVD, it has a team list and that's where I saw George Evans. I hadn't heard of him until then, but I figured if he was able to keep Billy Smith in the centres until he left then he must've been something special.

thanks for the help everyone, but I don't like the '66 nearly as much as the '65 cause Gasnier (my all-time favourite player and idol) is not in it and Provan is no longer there :(
