So we're all starting to get back into as the offseason comes to an end, I'm wondering what's going to happen with the two forums.

It's great that LU could accommodate the Jubilee Ave forum and save all it's history. But now we have the issue of two Saints boards side by side with basically the same membership. Threads on the same topic are duplicated on each

It's a bit of mess at the present. It seems that some sort of general accord needs to be put in place about what sort of topics are discussed on each board. Similar to the keep left on the footpath social convention.

Either that or the two forums should form some sort of Joint Venture, or merger if you will.

DAF, DAF, DAF, DAF

Most of the reasoning is because you don't need to login out here to read, but do in there. I mostly read here only, unless I login to post, than I go into Jubilee.

With all respects to all concerned , I have a major biff with this forum , it really slows up when there is a lot of people browsing and this being the case after most game days , it sucks! , also if there is even more then that the site times out and wont even go in!!

( this is my experiences anyway and i am no newbie to a computer)

With regards to WORL it just aint WORL anymore , the old dog is gone' , I think these boards must be joined together.

I think it is super sweet how jubliee makes OT threads about politics, cricket etc where they only want to talk to other Dragons fans.

Does not show lack of courage or isolation issues at all.

Carry on or perhaps just man up.

But hey it your forums have two.

Vive le difference

There's nothing wrong with repeating ourselves from time to time, with Dragons fans I find too much conversation is never enough, and what the heck is wrong with repeating ourselves from time to time anyway?

Ive never had a problem with it? And I dont see the problem still. How hard is it to browse both forums. And if something is repeated so what. I hardly even notice. Its not rocket science.

I tend to see the Ave as an area free of trolls. I wrote nearly the same stuff about Boyd after Charity Shield in both but I like the fact that there's an area specifically for Dragons fans to comment and I assume it's somewhere the Telegraph isn't going to quote us if we were to say, threaten Joe the Cameraman.

fortae did warn us .. mind you i gather worl was being shut down and we needed to go somewhere .. the biggest problem here is the "database error" which happens all too often .. additionally, nugby has a point re trolls that makes Jubilee Avenue a must keep ..

I use both forums, and I think it's great that Jubilee keeps oppostion trolls out, so scrotum lickers like Mr Angry, Carcharias and others can't continue to reaffirm that their parents are related by blood.

The fact it annoys them enough to bother posting above re Jubilee Ave is reason enough to keep it as members only. Keep the riff raff out I say.

The Jubilee Avenue sub-forum on this website is the old World of Rugby League forum that used to be hosted by Ninemsn.

That got shut down and moved here.

Most of the posters on there are the posters that were on the old WORL site, and we had threads about politics etc over there ... it continues on this Jubilee Avenue forum.

It has nothing to do with not wanting to discuss political issues with supporters of other clubs.

Besides, don't worry ... there are Tories in every team's supporters, so if you think you are being let-down by a lack of Libs at Jubilee Ave, you have nothing to worry about .... we've got some of the best Liberal-supporting excuse-makers you'll ever see

Well if we spoke to NineMsn, they might change their mind. lol

WORL exists in the Jubilee Ave forum. NineMsn pulled the plug on WORL. LU's people spent hours then weeks and months getting all the posts over to here before they were deleted.

If not for this site, it would all be lost.

I'd hardly call it a mess. Personally I prefer the Jubilee Ave forum because the posters I enjoy reading the most are there more often than here. Either way it's fine though, and just as enjoyable for me as WORL was.
