You can't really compare the two. ABC have a broadcast team in each location and asides from rare games (selected Storm games in Melbourne, SoO, finals) the teams don't travel any further than up the F3 or down the F6. This is a function of being a (the) national broadcaster.

I think they have a team stationed in Canberra who do that call, and they have local Qld callers. The Wok and co don't venture out of the Sydney area too often.

That’s kind of funny. The ABC don’t pay for radio rights, but they provide a service free of charge when the NRL commercial partners think they don’t want to cover a match or send a call team to call a match,

You know the sytem is not working when you can't even listen to a game live......

I'm not sure if it is still on air but an EPL game use the be broadcast over the am radio...you can listen to a game from half way around the world, but can't tune into your local team.....

2SM are hitting all time lows. They have a Ben Ikin show at 12pm on Saturday that goes for an hour....then between 5 and 6pm they have an AFL show. 2SM's ratings figures would be 0.0003% for those 2 hrs
