Yes, RL is in diabolical shape when the 10th best player can only fire against dodgey defence........

There is only one response to your rubber necked drivel, and MacDougal delivered it sweetly

The funniest thing is that you have dug in to defend it!

 Naming boyd in the top 10 that got people upset and needed to do insults  that is the funniest thing:lol:

No. The funniest thing is you were hacked on for picking Carney.

You tried the classic f*cktard defence of "it was a geee up", and you ballsed up :lol:

Even Poor Boy Blues isn't that stupid!

Which makes you look even more stupid if you were serious.

You are making a lifes obsession in investigating the depths of dumbness, and you are already a hell of a long way down!

Based on this season's form he is the best in the game.

Let's see if he can maintain for a whole season though

Amazes me that people talk about Benji's "playmaking" skills having "developed", or still being a "work in progress".

imo Benji is the most talented pure ball-player of his generation. Probably the best player of his sort since Cliff Lyons. What he lacked, and is developing, is an understanding of playing the percentages, what play to go for on what tackle, which risks are worth taking etc.

Perhaps it's just semantics, but when I hear "playmaker" I think "ballplayer" i.e. someone with the ability to spot a gap and put a teammate through it. imo Benji has been the best in the comp at doing that since he debuted in 2003. His outstanding speed and footwork are an amazing bonus and make him a freakish package. His ability to make teammates look good has never been in question for me though, he throws more defence splitting passes and creates more gaps with sleight of hand and vision than anyone. It's always just been a matter of him learning how to fit that in to the pattern of a somewhat risk averse game.

What Manu said!

It's almost a case of Benji having too many (skill) options at his disposal.
