I'd rather be last in 2011 and spend the alleged 1 mill to sever ties with Cullen. Hahahahahahaha. Most of the real good targets have already been resigned and as I've said b4 although I've got a massive soft spot 4 Civo it would b a signing that takes us backwards. Even if we got one of the Storm boys it's like that other code hopper, they really wouldn't want 2 b here anyways, so pointless. The loss of Wayne Bennett has hurt our organisation in ways many of us will never truly fathom. Many inside and outside the club done the unforgiveable and took him 4 granted and the success he brought to our brand. Make no mistakes about it, we are way back in the field these days and I can't see how the 4 original board members and Bennys' drive and influence can b replaced and it is a damn shame. I remember Bennett being quoted as saying, "coming to the Broncos was a chance to build a club the right way, bcause he'd seen so many ruined by internal factions bickering", well the Broncos are starting to resemble exactly that. Regardless of all our differences of opinion on this forum, which is provided to accomodate exactly that, I personally just miss the exciting brand of football our club once played. In the early days we missed finals series, but geez even then the team took you on one hell of a ride. Now our team plays like chess pieces, there is very little room for individual flair or creativity and don't even start with the god damn penalty goals. Horses 4 courses maybe, but I notice the crowds starting to drop off, player unrest, coaching staff resigning and very, very poor results. In the age of the $ we have forgot what made this club g8 to begin with, the football team.
