Did anyone catch Slater on the Today program this morning???

My gosh, when fronted with questions about his contract he fell into a heap, stumbling over what he was saying, not being able to get anything out. Stuttering when Carl asked him about multiple contracts!

IMO he didnt look like someone with nothing to hide...

I hope Billy is exposed big time. I hate the merkin with a passion....most over rated poster boy there is.

He is the grubbiest merkin in the game who has the media fooled....cant believe Rabs said he was one of the best fullbacks he has ever seen. I guess as you get older you lose your memory

Haha ok Saab your obviously blinded by your hate for Slater you can't see how good he is.

He is useless under the high ball
Useless passing left to right
Throws away world cups trying to be amazing when all he should have done is the safe option.

All billy has is speed....if he didnt then he would be Rod Maybon

Oh dear.
Don't tell me the intricately woven sweater of lies is beginning to unravel on the nail it first got hooked on when we all seen the QE2 parked in Inglis's f**king yard.

What a f**king surprise.

Deadset, you Dragons fans fair dinkum need to move on. 1999 was a long time ago.

I've never seen such a sad grudge held for so long. At least have a reasonable reason for it...

Paully, call it tall poppy syndrome, but its just hilariously ironic when a bunch of cheating pricks (who many of us have always been suspicious of) get outed for what they are, a bunch of cheating pricks.
Is it then so wrong, after having years of suspicions confirmed, to sit back and laugh about it for a while?
Hell no.
Its was the same when Rex hunt got outed for being a cheating prick (err, in a different sense..............uggggggggghhhhhhhh) and when Roy Cohn died of AIDS, both not good events as death and infidelity aren't funny, but beautifully ironic given one was always a great talker about faithfulness and sanctity of marriage and the other was against queers and communists.
In spite of the sad decline, the irony..............was................just........................too..................much.

Ditto this situation, particularly on this forum where some people lauded them as the patron angles of the game and people of integrity above reproach.
To see the complete opposite, whilst tragic, is still f**king hilarious.

Saab aint a saints fan

funny thing is, no saints fan or Saab commented on how good or bad a player he is...

He is a poor choice of role model for young kids, 2 Melbourne fans were the first ones to debate how good/bad he was as a footballer.

Saab pretty much had a go at a bloke who is meant to know the game and history of the game as well as anyone in the business, but made such a foolish comment.

Deadset, you Other fans fair dinkum need to drop the 'Dragons are cut about 99' excuse and move on. 1999 was a long time ago.

I've never seen an excuse held for so long. At least have a reasonable reason for it...

The thread is relevant mate, anything a dragons fan has said in her also is...

you on the other hand....

So contribute something worthwile, or...

GTFO!

not on Youtube yet but no doubt will make an appearance.

His appearing on the show did him more damage than good.

When asked the basic question on everyone's lips about signing two contract, all he said was "you know I cant answer that as there is a criminal investigation pending"

He would have been better off if he didn't do the show. You would think that if there was one contract, that he would be pretty quick to volunteer that information.
