Speaking of which, where were the samples going around?

In the first half I sat in the second back row, about 3m behind Mark and his GST sign, and in the second half (after going to meet a friend at halftime and losing my place) I went and stood in the front row near the kids. I was one of the guys with a whistle at the end of the game ... apparently stadium management (massive c.unts!!) don't care if you use a whistle in the last 10 minutes of a game, but the first 70 is a no-go zone.

Anyway, point is that I didn't see a sample at either the back or the front, lol.

Sample was around Amanda's neck most of the night. It was passed around earlier in the evening, approx 6.30pm

It is the same material as the 1996 Saints scarf as St. Linnane points out, that has one side inverted - We can fix this no problem.

I will try and put a pic up, however it does have a spelling error, and it's slightly the wrong shade of red, but a 2nd sample will arrive once the wording is decided.

If a mod can add the additional choices to the poll, and reset so we can vote again that would be great. I like the "till I die" also, however how would you write this? I beleive if it is written as SAINT GEORGE, it would be politically incorrect lol, and if it's written St.George, it's not how it's pronounced
- any thoughts?

I'm ordering a Sample now with Till I Die..... and Matt I will make it the same side up.....and everyone can hold up whatever side they like and from behind it will look nice too.

DR We didnt show too many people, you must not have been too far from us when you were sitting behind GST as we were to the right of him a few rows back. I will get Macca to put a pic up soon.

I hope the next sample is perfect and we can order the quantity we all decide and get them to the games soon!!

Changes so far:

Two stripes to appear on both faces of the scarf
2010 to be replaced with 'Till I die'
Red on ends to be the red in the 'official' scarf
Text on both sides to be larger, and fill the length / width better

Just thinking out loud here, but not so sure Die looks so great.... I know it's an awesome song and all, but a little too Tupacish for the scarf maybe?

What about 'Till the end' or 'FOREVER'.....ok maybe that's not as good either.

Heading out now, so hopefully a couple of ideas will be thrown up on here and we can start a new poll with all the options. Sainttpp is correct in that we need to move quickly as the season is getting away from us, but I want it to be right, and ensure the majority are happy with the wording.

I think most of the choices are fine. We can sit here and argue about Till I Die, Stand Tall, Till The End forever, and in the end the majority really wouldn't care which is on it.

Looks good though. Was a bit worried it was going to look like the bulldogs one.
