I think Locky's plan was to see if any of the current crop of NSW had a sack. The NSW greats would have been disgusted watching a backrower push a QLDAer and then RUN behind his own players.

Geyer, Roach, Spud Carroll, McGaw, etc would have been devastated.

If QLD do lose this year, the only hope is that NSW grow a set of testicles in the process of winning....it's becoming embarrassing watching what has happened to our once strong and fear-inspiring adversary.

I do not understand Darren's position.

Origin biff has always been part of the spectacle with players almost certain with the knowledge the ref will be more lenient than in club games.

Additionally, Qld have nothing to fear from a stoush. Price is not selected this year and it is not as though NSW have strategically selected a team overly capable of low and dirty thuggish play having omitted Bird and Gallen.

Maybe Darren's comments are a smoke screen with Qld preparing for Myles and Thaiday comming out to niggle the likes of Lewis and Creagh.
