yep delete 110kg of front rower who is currently playing lock & replace it with 88kg of halfback playing lock.
That should stiffen up the defensive centre.

FMD!!

Where are Stapleton and Bakuya?

Stapo should be there in place of Fergusson.
Bakuya in for Pommeroy.

I hate the way he always steps back inside and completely ignores his much faster winger and if he does remember him he tosses some stupid off-load to the sideline official or his mate sitting 5 rows back in the stand.
f**k Pommeroy...he runs in to try to defend and the faster centres wonder around him or pass it to the player he's supposed to be marking or he tries to intercept and only succeeding in knocking the ball down so the opposition can have another 6 tackles at us.
Stapo or Bakuya would be far better centres than this slow coach.

Ben pommeroy
13 tackles, zero ineefective, 3 1on1's & 2 missed.
10 runs for 113 metres( by far the most efficient back)
1 try
1 try assist
7 tackle breaks(next closest was 3)
3 offloads
1 error

Certainly not the guy you are describing IMA

Aiton is a competitor.

He is the kind of player that wants the ball, wants to get involved, and wants to play.

He is Gallen like in work ethic in terms of wanting to rip in.

i have never liked gallen at lock.

he is a second rower and thats where he should be.
toops isn't a lock either.

would have been good to get odonnell.
We were good when bird was at lock and gallen in the second row.

aiton can also play lock, i like the thought of sticking flanno in the line up somewhow.

last time he was in firsts, he was playing out of dummy half alot like cam smith.

fool the markers, gain some metres, flat pass off to a runner and make some more.

not the f**king crab walking and 30 second passes from dumm half that we have been experiencing in our current side.

has anyone seen how laid back fergo is when he passes from dummy half.
its like he needs to get a feel of the ball, then floats it in there air, by the time it hits the mark, the defense is right up on it.

Only time a winger should handle the ball at dummy half is when he is going to hit the fecker up and not pass it.

But hey, maybe the great one is honing his ball distribution skills for his imminent move to the centres. (Hopefully in NSW cup that is)

Fergo and most of our outer backs throw these massive floaters. it really puts the halves under pressure. how hard is it as a professional footballer to throw a decent pass. FMD

Actually, now that Gall has almost completely lost his effectiveness as a wide running second rower, I think it's finally time to move him to prop.

When you mentioned floaters and your backline, this was my first thought.
