For those who want Fittler sacked as a commentator...

I thought him and Joey were fantastic last night. They were having a ball.

Better than listening to the negative comments from Bee Sting. Gould proves you don't need to have a long neck to be a goose.

I've never really had any problem with him, he has his moments.

Gus and Rabs were quite annoying to listen to last night, they couldn't get enough of Hayne. 'Why hasn't Hayne positioned himself', "what a play by hayne" or "where's hayne?"

He's awesome man. He's not there to be insiteful and annoy us like that. He's just a bloke from Penrith who loves life and loves the game. Kill joys, and there are plenty of em in here, can do as they please. He doesn't try and be funnt, he's just being himself.

That comment after the Sharks game last night - priceless. I thought he said he got the bird from a seventy year old lady though? And was having a conversation with them while he was still miked up.....ahhh. A breath of fresh air.

Excellent stuff Freddie.

I love Brad Fitler, and unlike many commentators he really gets into the game.
Last night in the final minute proved that he is a true Rugby League commentator; I haven't heard a commentator that amped up in a long time....it was great to hear. Him and Joey Johns were having tonnes of fun. Mind you though, they wouldn't do well commentating in other sports....

Fitler's fine. Incoherent at times, but fine

Wally Lewis is the worst. So boring and far from insightful

He commentates like he's watching the game drunk with mates.

He's definitely not the most in-depth commentator, nor is he the most perplexing one. I see him more of an average day dude who loves his footy. His a big kid when it comes to his passion for the game, he'd run out on field if he could lol.

He does dribble on sometimes but they all do. He is like MG. Love him or hate him, he was a past Australian Captain and has won Origins and Premierships with 2 clubs. Not to mention he was a decent ball runner and play maker towards the end of his career. Remember his step early on at the Panthers? Or his kicking game at the Roosters? He likes the odd drink and can say the wrong thing/do the wrong thing at the wrong time but eh, he's human.

IMO the best commentators are Sterlo, Gus, Rabs, Wazza, Vossy and Brandy. Whilst the short insights from Freddy, Dell & MG are welcomed. I think the Joey Johns should've had some time to clear his head instead of continuing TV media work after his stints in the badside.

Definitely agree with the Fatty/Sterlo comment.

It's refreshing to listen to a commentator who doesn't take himself so seriously.

Much better than listening to Brandy tear into a referee.

I'm still stunned by the carry on of Rabs and Gould yesterday when Hayne had that no-try.

Why didn't they rip into the arrogant prick for not kicking for his outside man? Reddy (I think) was unmarked out wide. Certain try.
