Referee appointments

Archer will hopefully be good for us, and Hayne was certainly OK for us in the first half at least on Saturday.

The major problem is in the video referees box, with two blokes who have regularly given Saints stiff decisions. Hopefully we don't have many video referrals on Sunday!!!

f**k I hate Harrigant. If he costs us I'm going to spend 25 years in a very small cell.

Archers the best man for the job...least likely to get droned out by the whinge coaltion of anasta, ryles and pearce.

If gasnier gets over the line and it goes to Harrigan, watch how closely he'll be looking at that footage, if he has any doubt it will be the red light. There is no way he'd like a repeat.

As I understood it there should be but only one was named, which is interesting, because the official NRL release said "Video Referees: Bill Harrigan"

Referees implies two. I reckon they've left Clarkey out.

You'd think if only one was named they'll only be using one on the day.

Why they'd need two is anyone's guess. What if they're looking at footage and one says try and the other says no try - would they flip a coin?
