just buy your tickets in july when they go on sale and if you don't want to go, sell them to someone who does. have you seen what some people are dishing out on ebay for GF tickets? it's enough to cover your red v membership fee for the next 5 years...

Or don't be a Red Vee member and have Red Vee member mates who buy you tickets every year only to have the airlines jack the prices up by over €1,200 on the week of the GF...

If there was an International Red Vee membership I'd buy one just to feel like I was contributing. Even if the only benefit was a keyring, some stickers and maybe free shipping on orders - because I'd order heaps of stuff if shipping wasn't prohibitive...

I've been a Red V member twice before, only coinciding with the years the Dragons play in Townsville. No point joining otherwise.

With the massive influx of people scrambling for grand final tickets, all i can say is they only have themselves to blame. Sorry for sounding so blunt, but this is one of the major reasons why its in your own best interests to become a red vee member. You dont have to buy a 12 game season ticket, there are other cheaper alternate options available. Not only does it give you a definite look in to home games, the support of the club you love, but more importantly, first dibs on finals tickets!

A no brainer in my opinion. You snooze, you lose.

Make it a choice, no, a priority, to get yourselves a 2011 Red Vee club membership so as to avoid future disappointments. Plus your doing your part to keep our famous brand trucking along.
Wrong. A mate of mine is an out of town RED V member. He flew down to watch the game last week with the view of getting tickets Monday. Members had access from 9am, non ticketed members (my mate) had to wait until 9pm. He wanted 4 for his family. Couldn't get 4 together. Tried 3. No luck. Tried 2. No luck. Could only get single tickets at all corners of the planet. By the time he tried and failed and went to the end of the queue a thousand times he'd missed out. Great system. Lucky for him I bought 2 tickets and he won't miss out.

Nobody else to blame if people choose not to invest in being a member with access to members pre sale then be disgruntled that they missed out.

An extra $15-20 would solve that issue. He should become a country member.

I take it all Red V members are guaranteed tickets in the pre-sale then?

Are there any who missed out for any reason?
