If true it's a very big mistake & nearly as he never did anything with the playing roster he had at St George Illawarra & nothing has happened since that would give us cause to feel positive about our chances of success with Nathan Brown as Coach.
I would like to see Mark Ellison as Head Coach with Jim Dymock as his assistant.

I have heard different. I've heard the club is keen to get Ricky Stuart on board to help give some direction.

I heard an amazing rumour that management are going to give the current bloke a chance to do his job. Amazing, can you believe it!!

Really, why would our guys go with people like Brown or Stuart that have brilliant track records of destroying perfectly good teams when we already have a coach that nearly got a team of nobodies to the finals.

Absolutely no way for Ricky Stuart - he will cause massive infighting within the club! Half the players will be looking for an out to go elsewhere if he is appointed.

I have also heard the rumours about Tim Sheens and I have no problem with this. We will have to wait and see what transpires in 2011 first - provided we have a big season on the field do we retain John Lang?

Trouble with John Lang is that he is one of Richo's mates & was always going to get the head coaches job no matter who was in front of him.

Boo, you seem to have an issue with Richo and any appointment he makes. The one with Luke Lewis was strange because he was happy to agree to play for us after discussions with Richo and changed his mind later on. I'm not here to defend Richo but overall we appear to be in good shape and very few players or staff are trying to leave the place.

jackb, trust Richo at your own discretion but i still remember the day down the Federal Court when all the names of the current club bosses were read out opposing South Sydney being re-admitted to the NRL & Shane Richardsons name was read out with the rest of them.
That's right jackb, Richo in all his wisdom agreed that South Sydney had no place in the NRL & was against us gaining re-admission & now he is our clubs CEO.
HaC & Richo can never be trusted & as far as i'm concerned they are the 2 most false individuals i have yet to meet.

Ricky Stuart will be ideal. He won the Fowl Chooks a Premiership in his first year there, why can't he win a Premiership here with our pack of forwards?

This is a fair point. Stuart is a club killer and has no strength at all as a coach in the development of players, but he does have the ability to get a couple of good years out of a mature squad before they burn out.

After waiting 40 seasons for your next premiership and the sh*t you have had to go through since 1990, then putting all your eggs in the "Premiership within the next 2 years at any cost" basket could be a wise strategy.

After that, bring in a rebuilding coach in teh Brian Smith mould to resurrect the exhausted rabble Stuart leaves behind.

Stuart is a joke walked into a gun side which was set up by two great coaches in Murray and Gould then killed the club then was sacked. Did nothing at the sharks. Don't want him anywhere near souths.

Arrogant idiot

Lang for mine ,
proven and stable and he would have learnt from his return season.
cannot think of a worthy replacement at this time.
Kearney would have been of interest , definitely not Sheen/stuart/nathan brown

I'm throwing my hand up.
Line speed, catching practise , tackle bags, support and offloads, no one out hit ups.
And for motivation - pull your finger out or off to reggies, how hard can it be
