I'm sure the same statement from a few of those people would've drawn the same reaction - nothing to do with self-importance. It's clear that there'll be some sort of entertaining reaction whenever people give sh*t to a small select group of people in here... and as I said, there are posters who could wander in here, post the same thing and simply have it overlooked because it wouldn't get the reaction.

Muse go alright. a few really good tracks... the rest is mostly meh. i couldn't muster the effort to go and see them, but if i did i bet i would have had a decent time.

they're no Symphony X or Sonata Arctica or Dream Theater... but they go alright.

In all honesty...emo is such a sh*t word. I don't think there's such a thing as "emo" music, I think it's just a simple way for people to label stuff they dislike. The variation in what I've heard called emo is just geniused...
