definitely. Great looking jersey tbh.. there recent home jerseys have been a disgrace

Not as bad as their away jerseys

Definitely like that Broncos design but not a fan of how they've done this heritage jersey. The back of the jersey is yellow, looks so sh*t. The stripes need to go all the way round so it's consistent with the rest of the jersey then its a winner.

Man I wish they would do a heritage of the diamonds jersey.

That was ugly

In a past life i was a broncos fan........ I still have my diamonds jersey hanging up in my cupboard. It is truly a hideous jersey.

I think everyone needs to bombard the Penrith footy club with emails and tell them they need to keep wearing that heritage jersey as their home one and that white version they wore against Parra as their away one. My god they are amazing, I got goosebumps watching them run out tonight, ISC have made amazing jerseys this year, they haven't made a bad one in 2011.

I agree on that, or at least their designs as some of their colours are different to 1991, (teal and purple)

I think the Toyota Cup sides use a similar design.

How good are they . There wouldn't be a person in the world that would prefer their current purple crap surely

That is a great jersey the Storm are wearing. More navy than purple, gold collars, names on back, doesn;t look like a billboard.

A couple of teams not wearing their heritage jerseys this weekend, possibly due to jersey clashes: Manly wearing their normal maroon jersey and Parra in their yellow alternate.

Manly's not much different to their current jersey and wouldnt have clashed with Cronulla. Maybe saving their white jersey for next week.

As for Parramatta their blue heritage jumper will probably be used next week against the Bulldogs.

Manly's heritage this year is white, so would of possibly clashed with Cronulla's pale blue heritage.

Manly don't have a heritage jersey this year. The white strip is their away/alternate.

Parramatta's blue heritage jersey I dare say will be saved for the Eels clash later in the year.

It was nice to see Storm jerseys with players names on the back rather than another sponsor. Would help casual or new fans identify players. The NRL should go back to making teams have players names on the back of jerseys.

I thought I saw somewhere that the Manly heritage was white. Must have been dreaming. I don't know why Parra needs a heritage now that the home and alternate jerseys are heritage. This year's heritage isn't that good.

When do you think Parra will wear the heritage?

When did that happen?

I only know the Storm that did it in the NRL and i thought they were the first to do it.

Sorry beagle - meant for vs Manly. They'll wear the blue heritage, you'll wear white away (which, you're right, essentially doubles as heritage).

Interestingly, Roosters are yet to wear their away strip.

ALL Super League teams did it here in 1997, you will probably find because the Storm only had a sleeve sponsor from memory back in 1998-1999 when they started, well they may as well had names there and fill in the open back half of their jersey, could of also been a throw back to the SL comp the year before (they were supposed to be included into the SL comp but for some reason the club wasn't ready for it) so you might find their original jerseys were supposed to be worn during the SL era, but instead of being thrown out or whatever, just recycled for their inaugural year. Just a theory, might get shot down but meh.

as are the St George Illawarra Dragons.

But of course, the Dragons traditionally only wear their away jumper a few games per year - less than any other club I'd say?

But yeah, strange not only that the Roosters haven't worn their away jumper yet, but they've worn their heritage jumper more than their main!

Dragons probably wear their away strip the second least of any club - Canberra would be the one team whose home jersey is so unique they rarely are asked to wear the black number.

I believe Saints wear away (this year the Illawarra jersey) 5-6 times a year.
