lol, I dont mind a bit of interest in a game of footy, but thats the problem with Souths, you dont mind them doing well as the underdogs (i.e. gob-smackingly bad performances over several decades), but as soon as they win a few games, both their fans and players become terribly arrogant... not even finishing in Top 8 and still arrogant..

They go out of their way not to be liked! Surely Sandow could have a little bit of humility? He has achieved nothing in the game so far, nor has his team.

Now I don't think that Saints will plaster this one on the dressing room wall for motivation, they are already focused and don't need some never was piece of sh*t talking smack to fire them up.
If anything they have controlled focus / anger / aggression, too much of it and you can perhaps let the team performance degenerate markedly.

Very true I didn't mind them and even felt sorry for them being kicked out but ever since Russell Crowe, their fans and players often have foot in mouth disease it always seems to leave a bitter taste. "Crowe thumbs up thumbs down" against a humiliated Roosters a few years back was very bad form IMO.

Guys have we all become a bit PC here? Have we started to believe the media? The article says Sandow has launched a "scathing attack" but I certainly didn't read it in those words.

Yeah it's dumb to say any footballer is "no threat" but I think what he says is pretty much right. Our edge is where we wreak havoc. Creagh owns this guy. Sandow is just too damn short to wrap the ball up. And Creagh will have Boyd looping behind him and feeding to Cooper and Morris. Gaz has an amazing record against the Bunnies (is it 11 tries in 10 matches?) and Nightingale is scoring heavily again. That's our attacking strength. Period.

I'm all for having a crack at Souths and I think Sandow is a knob jockey. But I actually agree with what he said, just not the manner in which he said it, nor the reason behind it. Soward and Hornby are organisers and ensure great field position and tactical nouse. Vital to the succsess of the team but hardly deadly in attack. If I was coaching a team to beat the Dragons they wouldn't be my focus.

It hurts to say this but i thought Sandow put in a half decent showing last night. He still is a little lazy, gave up on one play completely after a line break which we scored from. But he did have a go and played well for most of the match... he is still a douche bag.
