You havent mentioned how many times the dogs made a break down reddy Etu's side of the field....


Who do you think the dogs are going to attack? YOu have a side with a 2 game Player in LOKO Burt and then bloody Mortimer defending Idris and Turner with Barba roaming around Or you have Reddy and Etu with a Horo..

They actualy made all the breaks down the side with Reddy and Etu time to send them back to Wenty aswell?

Was bad in your mind.... The whole team was bad why not start one about every player?

He played better then alot of other players in the team... Mortimer was put to defend next to him That is never going to work...

Did you comment about Mortimer being stood up in Barba's third try? How many times did Idris make a break of a Loko missed tackle?

well maybe we should, it would save the endless threads about Mortimer being started every bloody week, and you seem more interested in trying to implicate Mortimer (one of our 3 best players on the night) in everything bad to try and shift any blame from Loko.....

being constructive is criticising him for playing poorly, but admiting that a lot of it was due to his youth and inexperience.....as i pointed out

and no, Reddy contained Frank Pritchard all night long, even if Frank got a few steps on him, Reddy got him in the end every time, so no

Etu on the other hand is clearly not a good fit at NRL level. I have also been pateint and constructive with any criticism i have made of Etu so far this year, but enough is enough, especially when he doesn't have the benefit of beinga ble to say that he is young and inexperienced...he has been around a while and jsut isn't cutting it IMHO....Etu was horrible for one try that was let in where he just stood there and took no one

ps. nearly all the Bulldogs tries were scored on they're right hand side attack....our left hand side defence....which is where Loko was, and yes Morts and yes, Morts made a bad miss on Idris for one of his tries, although it was almost over when Morts got near him as the whole left side defence was ragged by then and pretty much no one was going to stop Idris for that try....Luke wasn't overly good in defence last night either

well finally we agree on something, 3 things in fact...(1) Morts was one of our better players, (2) he should be playing at halfback right now, and (3) he needs a better player at 5/8 = Jarryd Hayne

Having a think about I think Loko should go back to Wenty where the team is actually playing with better structure... Promote the Kids from the Toyota cup that are going to be in first grade soon to get them used to playing with the older guys... As playing witht he first grade team at the moment wont help at all...

well i kinda knew that, but still even the thought of supporting another team seems alien to me

and what you just said RE: Loko is all i have been trying to say and did actually say, maybe he's actually not ready just yet, let him develop in Wenty even for a couple of weeks and build his confidence back up

so, see, there was actually no reason to get all postal on me anyway ;-)

One of Haynes first game was at fullback against Penrith where he didnt was protected then he was on the wing a bit different to Loko's Postition..

Also i remeber Haynes first go at centre..... Why isnt he still there?

I said last week he isn't ready. Now, I couldn't watch the game, but listening on the radio only further affirmed that belief. The kid has a world of talent, but if he's not ready (and he isn't) I really hope we don't persist with him too long. Let him develop his game for Wenty ffs! Remember he was only in SG Ball last year, and yes, while some can handle that meteoric rise, they are a very select few and I see nothing in Loko to suggest that he can. I'd rather watch him carve up for Wenty for a few months than struggle and fade out in first grade. He's had his taste, he knows he's wanted, let him go back and improve so that he comes back as a first grader.

after 29 minutes he was looking good. nothing spectacular but had kept Idris in check and was holding his own. after that it all went downhill, but you when you have veterans of the game who couldn't hold their heads after that period what can you expect of an 18 year old kid.

it is not an ideal environment at the moment to be blooding someone so raw. he could really do with a year going between U/20's and Wenty to gain the experience he needs.

One guy i dont rate is etu...Would much rather Loko.
Rory brien would be a safer option than loko.He isnt as spectacular but a lot better defender

Brien is a superstar IMO....but he's making a great fist of the forwards and I'd rather we kept him on that track

no i'm sure who he was stood up by, just not sure which try outo f the three Barba scored it was...as i said i think it was his first try.....

i made a thread to discuss Loko's performance....which was bad....since everything else was being discussed openly except this

and no, other than his firts tackle on Idris, old-school round the legs, no i didn't see him defend Idris well apart from that

Maybe because it's just the kid's second appearance in firsts and there are others in the team who should be supporting him and showing him the way, who can't even do their own job properly, who deserve the real criticism, you fool.
