Faces court on Thursday, and Carney is investigated as well. All the more intriguing for ANZAC day. Form usually goes out the door, ala saints 05 where we turned our season around that day. They will be coming for us hard, and this may galvanize them even more.
Or could allow us to really insert the pineapple...

It is still alleged. Very serious charges but that doesn't automatically mean a guilty verdict. We shouldn't forget that all the facts have not emerged and no player been convicted of anything yet.

Dunno if you should get sacked for being dumb. Carney doesn't think like a normal person. He's a sociopathic narcissist. He's fugged in the head.

Watts is just a pig.

The roosters should keep both of them. Why? Because while they are out there self destructing it's one less contender for us to worry about ?

Huh?
Whats a conviction got to do with it?
It's not illegal to have a drink but as far as the club was concerned his self impossed drinking ban should have been his LAST chance.

I don't think Carney actually did anything (apart from have a few beers)?

But considering he had the NSW 5/8 Spot and a possible Premiership in the works (i.e. plenty to play for).. im surprised he has already faltered... I thought it would be a few years before the novelty wore off, and he went back to his partying ways.

The issue is that Carney supposedly told club officials he was staying at home. If that is the case and he was out on the turps with someone, no matter what they did later on, then he should be sacked and deregistered given the number of chances he has had.

Also how he managed to keep his licence I don't know.

You missed the point of my post. Perhaps you should read back.

I know about these type of threads - with respect, you don't.

I wasn't talking about the club discipline, that's their business.

I was talking about due process in law, and the many legal threats this site has received for things said by posters.

Dangerousdave, let me know if you require further clarification.

Cheers.

I think I read in todays paper that Carney and Watts live in the same place . I wonder if the Roosters still think thats a good idea?
