I think it's a good side, I just think they made a mess of the front row.

I don't know how much more Tolman can do to gain selection.

King doesn't deserve to be there.

Ennis cost us Game 3 last year IMO with his grubbiness. Farah is the man for the 9.

That said I think it's a solid team.

Was sceptical of Young's selection at first but I think he'll make a real go of it.

how the hell are we going to score points?

In all seriousness;
  • Gasnier drawing two and offloading
  • Gallen and Bird offloads (half of which will hit the ground)
  • Kicking for Uate
  • Dugan and Jennings in broken play
  • Maybe with early ball and space Jennings can do something
You're completely right, this team's ability to create points by ball playing is pretty much non-existent.

......and that Stuart believes that, long term, Hayne's game is suited to that of a 5/8 not fullback. That's my point. Stuart obviously believes Gus Gould's theory that Jarrad has been a liability on the wing at origin level in the past being shown up as poor defensively therefore no start there for him either.

Hayne's defence on the wing is no worse than Brett Morris' yet he continually gets selected

Galloway and heighnington miss out again, not surprised about farah he has been awful so far

mckinnon has outplayed duggan twice so far this year too

Galloway is unlucky as is Farah, but Heighington in my opinion is hardly origin quality. McKinnon needs to get back to his 2007 form if he wants to play origin.

I'm shocked at the amount of ignorance shown about Josh Dugan here.

While last night didn't look good, you can easily see what he was trying to fo on each occasion, even if he did make the wrong decision both times. But to think that two poor decisions in what was an otherwise strong game typifies a players career shows a breathtaking amount of stupidity.

Anyone who had watched Dugan at length would know that defence is the least of his problems.

you arent going to get the ball through the hands with pearce at halfback

soward is the only attacker in the nsw halves and he is the only one who would be able to get the ball to those players

pearce will just bomb

Is 7 club players a NSW record? Can't think of another team that has had more selceted.

Changes I'd make,

4. Idris (Jennings has been s***)
8. Tolman
9. Farrah

17. Lewis (instead of Young)

1. Hayne
2. Hopoate
3. Josh Morris
4. Idris
5. Brett Stewart
6. Carney
7. Mullen
8. Tolman
9. Farah
10. Learoyd-Lahrs
11. Watmough
12. Glenn Stewart
13. Lewis

14. Galloway
15. Hunt
16. Weyman
17. Tupou

Haha man that forward pack and bench would eat the one selected alive and the backline is just as good if not better. 17 players not selected that would probably beat the ones selected. Even if they aren't as good, it shouldn't even be a close run race. The second best 17 shouldn't get near the first 17 and this one clearly would. Selectors are geniused and I don't get it. Do they watch the games? I don't really think so.

and the fullback is the most in form.

Still waiting for you to try and back this up, what is it about Dugan's recent form that puts him ahead of Hayne's typical defense shredding as was on show against the Dogs and Cowboys? Was it his turnstile defense against Melbourne, or his being dominated by the Tigers kicking game and providing zero last man defense there too? I'm genuinely curious why people have it in their heads that Dugan is in form, it's just being tossed about without any kind of reasoning.
