Who was comparing Mullen to those people? That is if you are talking about my post.

Nobody on here.

I just used Mullen as an example since he was the original candidate to be the long term half. Until he had an ordinary game, suffered a minor injury and was never heard from again.

Those things can impact a game, Hayne should know this. He cost his team big time that night, undid all his good work.

Lol, no it's not Haynes fault that his team can not perform 11 on 11 when he is off the field or for any longer than 20 minutes at a time, no matter how much you'd like to think so.

And yeah in CvC, it was a good bomb that Hayne lost out on, you want me to go count the amount of times Farah and Lui f**ked over Dugan? I think he's played four full games this year and defensively put in two solid performances and two shithouse with regards to what you'd call FB defensive duties.

Thing is we didn't stick with Slater, he was dropped for Bowen and then Hunt until his 2008 form was just too good to ignore.

Your post does hold up somewhat, comparing the likes of Mullen to Fittler, Daley or Johns is ludicrous.

FFS Who the hell compared Mullen to Fittler?

another year of dissapointing selections...another year of qld dominance. At this rate qld will win 10+ series in a row.

No Idris?

gasnier and idris cant be in the same side. theyre both right centres. is jennings a specialist leftie?

ennis i agree with. too many cooks spoil the broth, imo.

hayne missing out is bad luck, but i guess Ricky believes the strategy he wants to implement will be executed better with Dugan.

i think it's outrageous that the selectors couldn't talk cooper & hornby out of representative retirement.

Lol, Hornby should never be allowed near another representative jumper. He is a first grade footballer at best.

He is also an arrogant twat.

Here's my predictions for Origin.

NSW get beat by QLD who never actually get out of second gear.
The selectors bring in a bunch of blatantly obvious changes such as Hayne, Farah, Tolman, and Watmough.
At this point it is too late, having already given up game 1, and QLD are already on a massive roll with their unchanged side. Win or lose here is irrelevant, because QLD will win the decider at Suncorp anyway.

Repeat 2012.

Qld haven't won the 3rd game at Suncorp since 2003.

An interesting stat. that might bite them in the arse come game 3.

Seriously, B Morris over Hayne. Tis a joke right?

It's almost hysterical. How many times does Hayne need to prove he's made for NSW, and how many times does Morris need to contribute absolutely f#cking nothing to the team to be dropped.......

When it is Hayne that gets himself binned then it is squarely his fault. Hindmarsh admitted it when he got binned as well, he knew. Apparently you don't.

Yep Dugan has had an injury plagued start to the year, not denying it but when that bomb by Lockyer is launched into orbit or when Thurston fires a kick for a 40/20 I am grateful it isnt Hayne. Hayne has his strengths as well but those are things Dugan generally has covered.
