This isn't just any 3 adults on the drink. The team as a whole agreed a week ago to stay off the drink for a fortnight.

A week later 3 players are out in the middle of the night, one of them a recovering alcoholic with serious issues with drinking.

How do you think their teammates would feel hearing this today?

You don't agree to do things and then less than a week later break that promise.

And also shows you how much Myles and FPN give a damn about Carney. If they were real mates they'd have agreed to hang out at home or something to keep him company if he was feeling bored. They wouldn't agree to go out to club hotspots with an alcoholic. Mates look out for each other, they don't enable each others addictions.

Do you know they were drinking alcohol?

Does the story say that they were drunk or had a drink? It says allegedly break the ban. Come back when it is fact.

Three adults out on the drink.

So, whats the story here? I was out with 7 mates on Friday night and we ended up getting into a minor scuffle in an eastern suburbs pub. The bouncers broke it up quick smart and we continued having a good time.

I don't think all will be forgotten regarding that incident. Apparently one of those involved in the melee turned out to be a "testicle squeezer" and a spitter.

I hope they're not talking about you Ronnie..........

I feel for players sometimes, I seriously doubt my own ability to stay out of the pub for more then two or three weeks.

But if the rest of the team is sticking to it then they should be punished some how.

Yes allegedly, IF the allegations are proven I'm right.

But please, don't be naive. Noone goes to Oxford street in the early hours of Tuesday morning to see what their OJ is like.

Obviously yes. But some of us live in a world with common sense, some of us apparently don't.

How do you know the taxi driver didn't make it up to start trouble for the players in question?

I'm not saying I'm right, but I'm not speculating over a story where I don't know the full facts.
You'd be woeful in court.

Really who cares, even Carney should be able to have a drink if its dosnt lead to a incident, and of course who said they were actually on the grog, they could have been on the soft stuff

It's embarrasing for the club and coach when players self impose a grog ban and then some of the senior leaders go out and ignore it. It shows disrespect for the team, coach and club/fans. If that is what they have done. No wonder they are where they sit on the ladder, the two are closely alligned.
