Obviously yes. But some of us live in a world with common sense, some of us apparently don't.
Common sense is something you don't have. I live in a world of facts, no allegations. Wasn't Lindy Chamberlain alleged to have killed her baby? I'm not saying that they didn't do it but I'll wait for the proof before convicting them or spreading rumours.

Really who cares, even Carney should be able to have a drink if its dosnt lead to a incident, and of course who said they were actually on the grog, they could have been on the soft stuff

I thought Carney was reportedly an alcoholic?

He shouldn't be drinking again........ever.

How do you know the taxi driver didn't make it up to start trouble for the players in question?

I'm not saying I'm right, but I'm not speculating over a story where I don't know the full facts.
You'd be woeful in court.
Court? This has nothing to do with court, noone is saying they did anything illegal. Burden of proof and innocent until proven guilty doesn't apply.

What would you know.... You ever been to Oxford St from Coffs Harbour?
f**kwit. 18 and a half of my 20 years were spent living in Sydney. I know more about Sydney than you.

If this stuff is true, you have to feel sorry for the players who have been putting in and doing the right thing.

I'm more interested in the fact taxi drivers are dobbers now. what's this country coming to?
Maybe he read about the alcohol ban in the papers somewhere, or at least knew about Carneys issues, and was smart enough to know a problem is better off addressed than swept under the rug?

I was alluding to how you like to jump to conclusions without facts.

You've already basically stated they have done the wrong thing, but do you have any facts or proof that they have?

Fess up BunniesMan, you were the driver and you sprayed them with alcohol and sold the "story" to DT for 23 pieces of silver.

If it's true, as a Roosters fan I think:

Sack Carney. I've had enough of the off-field shit dished up by this club in the last four or five years, and he is close to the biggest offender of the lot. He is heading towards Mason territory. I defended him. I defended him to the ends of the earth. It may just be that I was wrong.

Dump Myles without pay. Not to Newtown - dump him full stop. Another major offender and we owe him nothing. Especially since he quit. f**k him. Season is over anyway.

Dump FPN for the rest of the season - not to Newtown either. And slap a 20, 30 or 40k fine on him. If he doesn't like it he can f**k off too.

I know it's the done thing here to jump down his neck, and yeah most of the time he brings it on himself (BunniesMan, I mean).

But we've seen this story before, and it's been true all the other times. Why wouldn't it be this time? Yes, innocent until proven guilty, but there's also fire where there's smoke.

And to those people who say 'it's just a bunch of guys having a few beers, who cares?'....please. Wake up. The Roosters came up with the booze ban, not the media or the public. And we all well know Carney's battle with the bottle. If he wants to enjoy a few beers, great. No drama in that. I do it too. But if he wants to be the best footballer he can be, he can't. Some can...he can't. And those other guys with him are idiots if they were there and were overseeing him drink.

Some clubs take real action while the Roosters continue to dither every time Carney steps out of line on the blind hope he'll miraculously straighten up and do a 2010 again for them. And I bet it's doing jack sh*t for the culture in Bondi.

wtf has it to do with the taxi driver?? just cos he read an article doesnt make him a f**king informant.

if i read player x was on a booze ban and saw him drinking i wouldnt be calling the DT of the club, it has nothing to do with me. maybe the cabbie wants his 15 mins of fame....

Good old naivety . . . politics, religion and league thrive on it.

Wonder if players who are not allowed to jump would think of forcing someone to give them a push . . . then sitting back and saying 'shit happens'

If they were studying for their Uni degrees (like the Souths lads) then we would have less of a problem with players drinking :)

Exactly.

What a contrast this week between our great club and little brother. The greatest foundation club and the shadow.

This week we make the news because of two convincing wins and our star signing talking about how happy he is with us, his optimism for our future and him starting higher education.

Meanwhile, little brother is in the headlines yet again for negative off field reasons.

It's no way to run a club.

I admire Politis for how much he's contributed to the game but I think he needs to be a little stricter down there in Bondi Junction.

We know how to run a disciplined club whose players stay out of trouble. We're very proud of our 'no dickheads' policy. Meanwhile, Mason, Myles, Carney, the Roosters happily sign every troublemaker that comes their way.

Only 2 days ago the club was doing charity work with mission Australia that did not get reported in the DT but 3 players in a taxi has been reported as breaking.

Put your troll hat down and think about that for second and see how this media outlet treats rugby league.
