My team from that would be
1 - Tomkins
2 - Briscoe
3 - Yeaman
4 - Reed
5 - Hall
6 - Widdop
7 - Chase
8 - Peacock
9 - Roby
10 - Graham
11 - Ellis
12 - Westwood
13 - Sinfield
14 - Heighington
15 - Carvell
16 - Morley
17 - Cudjoe
Only 9 of these played in the exiles game, wiht arguably our best players/most creative players missing i.e. Widdop, Chase, Roby and Ellis. Given Tomkins was also booed by the partizan home crowd whenever he touched the ball, I wouldn't say he was exactly firing on all cylinders either.
That game even had a half back combo of Sinfield and Myler - so I wouldn't read too much into the result.
I've put Cudjoe at 17 as I thought he did ok last year, kicked on again this year and can play cover 1-5, and could move into fullback and tomkins can cover 6/7.
It also means Heighington can replace sinfield who can also play 6,7 and 9 if required.
Much happier with the back line this year - Reed has had a good year, is strong in attack and defence, and much better than ablett who is a decent second rower at best. Yeaman has worked well with briscoe this year, and though not massively creative is strong in defence and is a work horse.
