The Steelers merged scum must be closet Souths supporters, they spend more time on our forum than their own.

Coming from you of all people.
I don't spend my time hanging around your teams forum and whingeing. I expect shit in the main forum but when you come here learn some respect. How would you like it if I went to the Dragons board and posted disrespectful stuff about your team?

Ok i agree with you to an extent but who is being disrespectful and answer this honestly by putting this thread up.The worst thing that has been said is this thread lacks a bit of class and im sure if you have read the whole thread you will see who is being disrespectful and personally attacking people for not agreeing with his opinion.

Hey shit for brains show me where I have shown disrespect to the deceased. The worst thing is that your merged filth have come on here and made a farce of the thread and tried to interpret there own crap.As for disagreeing with a opinion,I objected to being classed as been disrespectful,so if you cannot see that, you are a bigger dumb merkin that you have been given credit for.

have read this thread & wanted to make a comment with all jokes & humour left out..

personally, i can't understand the justification for why this thread was created.

we have seen quite a horrible tragedy occur recently with this fire, and any glorification of the event at such an early stage is really quite wrong. the sick minded person who (allegedly) started this fire has done so for reasons that most rational people can never understand, however one key trend that occurs with firebugs is the feeling of satisfaction they recieve when they see hype and excitement created by their actions.

this thread simply serves the purpose to create greater hype for what is a tragic event.

further to this, the actions taken by this elderly man were quite stupid & put his life at risk. any fire survivor will tell you the most important thing you can get away with is your life, and the lives of those you care about. items can be replaced, people can't.

i really cannot understand the justification in posting this thread and calling the guy:

A hardcore supporter :):)

as when you look at this objectively, he was not rescuing the cap because it was a rabbitohs cap, he was rescuing the cap because of the sentimental bond he held with it given that it was a gift to him from his relatives.

you could replace the rabbitohs cap with any other item (teddy bear, painting or even a pair of shoes) and the story would remain the same.

he rescued the item for his family, not his team.

and yes, i'm sure most of you reading this will simply fire off an abusive message in reply, or tell me to get out because i'm not of the same jersey colour as you..

however.. there are things bigger than football, and having 9 elderly people being murdered is one of those things. so if you choose to simply dismiss my thoughts or input into this discussion based on the team i choose to support, then i recommend stepping infront of the mirror and asking yourself if you are happy with the person looking back at you.

The thread contained Souths content and some people may have wished to have read it.Nothing more nothing less.As I have said many times before your mergred filth brethren turned this thread into a farce, attacking me,up and till then there was no comment one way or another from anyone.

Attacking you?

Please read this. This was my first comment:

My thoughts are with the families of the deceased.
Hardly worth celebrating in any way Newcastlerabbit.

That is in no way offensive.
Your reply was as follows:

Good one merkin stain.Still believing your own bullshit,f**k your a sad and miserable merkin. Would have been much better if we could swap you with one of the deceased,at least they have made a contribution to the world.Your just a sad merkin that should have been drowned at birth.

I say I felt it was a bit inappropriate.....you reply with wishing I was one of the deceased, or drowned at birth.

Wow....but you were the one "attacked"?

Please....

mnnnn, speaks for itself.Who attacked who? Please tell me who was actually celebrating a tragedy?

I have a funny feeling you think the word 'celebrating' only has one meaning. In this context to the educated reader, it is certainly not an attack.
You're like School on a Sunday.

'Celebrate' in the context I used it, means to make widely known, or display.
Any of our educated readers playing along at home would have understood it.

I don't see how you can criticise Newcastle Rabbit for merely re-posting someone else's article on the subject.

If you think this story is celebrating this incident in any way then you need your head read.

If anything it highlights the type of issues that the fire fighters arriving at the scene would have had to deal with and why this type of incident is such a nightmare for rescue services.

Having to run into a burning building to rescue people who have mobility issues, age related mental illness and in some cases, just simply don't want to leave because they don't identify the risk, would be a firies idea of a worst nightmare scenario.

The fact that the Man in this article put his and someone else's life at risk to save a cap is tragic, but it does also show his commitment to a cause. The fact that it was a Souths cap is secondary to the point imo. NR pointing this out and highlighting with Emoticons is not celebrating this event. Moreso it is just highlighting a small (and somewhat humorous fact) in a bigger more tragic story.

You blokes criticising NR need to give it a rest.
