I don't know about being out of it this year, but you really do need to win about 5 from your first 10 to set yourself up for a not too bad run at the finals.

As for being a spent force time will tell, but Blair has not gone within a f**king bulls roar of justifying the dollars spent on him and his price tag basically nuked the depth of the place, Lote spends more time running sideways and Moltzen is in a unique position of potentially being offered no contract unless Benji can intervene in that.

The fact they missed 48 tackles tonight, more than last week, but lost by less is only due to the fact Canberra butchered about three try's.
They lack discipline and as soon as Marshall cops one in the head he appears done for the duration of that game.

it Happens. Last 5 years have been dominated by 3 powerhouses, manly, melbourne (all be it over or under cap) and dragons, next 5 will prob be the same, with the exception of newcastle. Its been a hard few years for supporters of other clubs..

mate if the 550K forward keeps performing at 35m per game they will not get within a bulls roar of September.
The Roosters may have been flogged, but at least they tried some constructive play (albeit very poorly executed) and I know the Tigers live for the off the cuff stuff, but honestly the shit they dished out tonight was sub par.
I am amazed they were able to play worse and lose by less than last week.
The fact Canberra did not absolutely blow them away can be put down to pure luck only.

Writing off anybody at this stage is a joke. I predict the Tigers will peak in the latter part of the season, making them more dangerous at the business end of the season. Don't think they will get 1-4 due to lack of consistency early, but 5th-8th for sure.

He has been good for a few penalties and missed tackles - that's it.

The Tigers are a side that can rack up a massive winning streak from nowhere. They did that last year winning 9 games in a row after a 3 match losing streak. And the previous year they won three straight, lost four straight, then won four straight over the first half of the season. They are a bit hot and cold, but they are the type of team that when they do win they're likely to win a bunch in a row. All they need is that one win.

Its not the losses, but the manner in which they are losing. Clearly there is something wrong atm within the club.

I reckon the supposed blow-up between Sheens and Farah was perhaps the start of their problems.

But to me something just smells rotten within the place. The Warriors got off to an awful start last year but you always felt as though they had the talent and work ethic to build to something special.

I dont see that with this current Tigers team. Losing Tedesco was a huge blow because they now have huge holes at 1 & 7 - the two most important positions in the game these days.

When you compare the Tigers to the likes of Storm, Sea Eagles, Dragons, Bulldogs, Broncos ALL of them have a class fullback. Ever since the likes of Hodgson left the Tigers way back, the fullback spot has been a revolving door of past it nuffies for them.
