Great comeback guys. When you guys can hold the ball you can play some bloody good footy.

Best of luck next week.

You're a gentleman and a scholar. I'd wish you luck next week, but with the team you've got and the form they're in I don't think you'll need it. Exciting times ahead for Broncos fans.

Shades of the Bulldogs game the way we started but it was a good comeback. Beau Scott had a shocking start and stifled all our momentum.

Beau Scott can f**k off now for all I care.
Im not wishing that, but he is certainly off his game.....and its not just since signing with the Knights.... imo his game started going off about 3 months from the end of last year....they showed a close up of him 6 mins into the second half last night and he looked absolutely stuffed.

I disagree. Football is an 80 minute game and a good second half doesn't make up for a disgraceful first half. The Broncos were good and had a mountain of possession but only because we couldn't complete our sets. Sometimes things don't go your way and you can get behind by 10 or 12 in matches but this team needs to adapt to that and get into the grind. Instead we always look shell shocked. We turned up with that stinky attitude again and that is something I cannot stand. You need to compete for the full 80 minutes every week and if you lose then you can at least hold your head high. But turning up and putting in a poor first half is not going to cut it.
Agree mate.....I knew within the first couple of minutes that it was going to be a long night....if you look at the replay they dropped a lot of ball as well...but the difference was they were leading 24 to blot.

We were missing C Stanley and Coops so I guess that explains the back rowers in the centres.

Can't be too hard on Prior given the week he's had, he'll bounce back.

As for Scott, hope he gets his head right soon. Not impressing at the moment.

Not according to Channel Nine ...... CHASE Stanley scored the try off Hornby ..... or so their on screen banner said . Sloppy , but typical , Nine .

Can someone PLEASE stamp Beau Scotts player accreditation with a stamp saying "NEVER TO PLAY CENTRE AGAIN !!!!". ( But make it expire at the end of this year ! :D )
It's quite clear his reads in defence there put too much pressure on Hornby to try and make up for his misread. Other teams have picked up on this i'm sure !
Hope Coops is back next week !

I've watched the game twice now, still can't get over the amount of dropped ball in that first half. I thought all of our backs with the exception of Prior/Scott were very good. Soward was patchy at times, but the rest were great.

Overall Price has a bit to work on particularly with Prior and Scott, quite frankly they were both dreadfull.

I love it how people say Soward was average, one dimensional etc. NFI. That bloke is dead set carrying at at times. He set up most of those tries.

The problem was we lost all momentum when you guessed it, matt prior dropped the ball yet again coming out of our half. It always comes down to who cracks first and it was matt. I won't go too hard given his very sad personal situation. But i'll put this on Price. Prior should never have started the game. Never. Matt didn't look like he should be there at all. We have now seen that we can be very gritty and smart, and we can also be very lazy and dumb. That's a worry and something price needs to fix. Stanley needs more confidence. He was put in some good positions to run with a bit of potency and toughness and he didn't. Hornby put stanley on the outside of his man a few times but stanley seemed to lack pace and conviction. Anyone else think this?
Overall, broncos were perfect in firs half, but lets be honest. We allowed them to be. It's a very simple game this... hold the ball, you'll be competitive. We have failed to do that twice this year. Big game next week against the sharks. Will be a tough one.

Beau Scott.
Scott is being picked on reputation at the moment and needs a kick in the rear.I feel Matt Prior also needs a couple of weeks off,i still like him as an 80 min workhorse but unfortunately the handling again lets him down.Kyle will get better ,needs more games at centre to gain experience and please Pricey,if Coops isn't available put in Nathan Green.

Without trying to bag Beau Scott too much, unfortunately he's turning out to be the player I always thought he was - very average.

Not particularly big, not particularly fast, the odd cheap shot every now and then which gives the impression he is tough ??

An average back rower at best and an even worse centre.

F*ck, I would love to see Matt Gillett in our team. The guy gives 110% every week, and he isn't too bad at the game either....in attack and defence. Tough bugger too. Was a nice surprise to hear the commentators saying how he grew up as a huge Dragons fan, as well as his family. Guys got good taste. Get him in the red V.

I wish we didn't come back in the 2nd half. That performance wasn't even remotely close to good enough, & the 2nd half might have them kidding themselves.

Very disappointed. "They didn't turn up" is literally a stupid cliche - but it's the only way to put it.

Green. What is wrong with C. Stanley this time? Please don't tell me hamstring. He is starting to strike me as a hypochondriac.

I thought Stanley was good. Solid in defence an even though he didn't overly worry them in attack, Hornby and Soward are almost always simply catching and passing. If Stanley is going to break the line, he needs to do it all himself. (I know Hornby set up his try last night but how many times has that happened this season?)
