I hope not, being an atheist I'd look like an idiot cheering "Go Jesus you good thing!" every time he scores a try.

#NoJesusForMe

Well I don't think you could cheer if you were a real athiest?

Everybody else would be cheering the try, and you'd be sitting down saying "nothing happened, there's nobody playing 5/8".

I'll check wikipoodia later, but I'm pretty sure that's the right analogy!

He would also be calling the rest of the crowd merkins for cheering for an invisible man.

newmanj is normally right on the money. Hopefully a Kearney sacking is imminent.

Well if it's not imminent, it'll be in 4 weeks time after we get sodomized by Dogs, Storm & Broncos without our 1 & 9.

we will beat at least one of: dogs, storm, broncos

don't know which one - might depend which team bus gets hijacked, but I bet we'll win one

Right, so if the only players we can attract are the ones who aren't quite up to it, why not sign young ones who are at least likely to improve?

This is the reason for the focus on youth.

Okay; that part of the equation is fine. Makes sense. But why on earth do you or anyone else believe that Stephen Kearney is the guy who can take those young guys and mould them into a winning team and ............. oh, what`s the use - you can`t discuss these things.

We're coming last because our old forwards can't win the ruck any more.

Most of our play-the-balls are slow, and most of the opposition's are fast. That's a recipe for coming 16th.

Considering this, the kids are doing well. Our quickest play-the-balls and best wrestlers are Mannah and Allgood. No coincidence that they're both early-mid 20s.

Hindy and Fui are both 32. Shack and Poore have never recovered from injury.

I`d be willing to bet you a f*cking sheep station you`re wrong about that.

Because he's the one who brought them to the club. He should get the opportunity.

I would have thought you'd grown out of this kind of passive-aggressive bullshit long ago, man your age...

I rated Hagan too, at least as a motivator. I'm well aware he won a premiership in his rookie season, and he did it a full year before Ricky Stuart managed it.

Great motivators the pair of them.

But what we need at the moment is a club builder. That's not Daniel Anderson or Ricky Stuart, and it sure as shit isn't Michael Hagan. I'd have Brian Smith back before any of these guys, and he's proven over a hundred years what a loser he is.

Still got a job but.

Wrong again - what we need now is a motivator.

:lol::lol: Does that even make sense to you?
