So we drag the games (arguably) top ref for the midday game in NZ on a Sunday. Obviously Bill had words during the week and said "Tone, they have been getting reamed this year - keep it up"

Having decided to watch the game at the pub instead of home, ( TP's for the light weight when he reads) where you can't hear the commentary, and you miss a fair bit of the small plays, did we get reamed again.

From those who watched at home, did we get the shit end of the stick from Archer as we usually do? It seemed at times we did.

for the most part I thought the decisions were okay, couple of little knock ons which favoured the warriors like the one before the hotdogs fumble near the line in the second half. Thought the blocking penalty was a bit rich also, happens every bomb to the corner!

Had some dodgy calls, but we got some soft penalties too imo.

Evenly refereed game.

Difficult to ascertain when you can't hear and your kiwi mates are crying at the same time. Cocky cuties gave it to me all week leading into this one too.

Victory is sweet, especially with the 3 point buffer still.

When Matty wright copped that high shot, I definitely heard archer saying it will go on report more than once. There was clear contact to the head and wright also had blood coming from the mouth. No penalty was given. REAMED!

To me Best scored in the last minute and TC should a been setting up from the sideline to click the 50 over.

I guess they said he touched the line.

It came up as a best Error on foxsports. So i think that means he dropped it?

There were a few incorrect calls both ways but when a team dominates like we did, it doesn't matter.

We need to have the attitude that calls will go against us but play the whistle & get on with the job of winning.

Matt Wrights head high incident...every other game every other day of the week gets him a penalty and goes on report...BS!

Archer reffed it well..no bearing on the result and I couldnt see any blatently poor calls.

Helps to be playing like we did though!

My question was aimed at the current quality of referring in the NRL which we seem to frequently watch.

I didn't think the refereeing was too bad today.

A few small knock ons that the referees missed.

But then we get a very soft penalty for a "late" hit on Smith.

If I were a Titans fan I would feel angry with the referees this week.

thought the smith hit must have been a payback for matty w not getting anything.

thought the refs weren't too bad today overall (if you look at the bigger picture of the usual shite standard that you come to expect).calls didn't cost us the game which was nice.
