Don't think so Skinz. Can not remember not caring this much. Ever. Trying to figure out why but really hard to put my finger on it. Could be that in the past when the team wasn't going good I didn't know why and therefor held out hope that they would 'turn the corner'. Right now I know why they're not going good and I know that they won't 'turn the corner' till bluey is gawn.

Didn't watch the warriors during the kemp era aye? Those were far darker days .

Some real short memories around this place.

Let's also not forget that the majority of members here were calling for cleary's head for the majority of last season and that we were fortunate to even make the 8

I've been a season ticket member since '95. I've been through the dark days. This feels worse for some reason probably for the reason stated above. In '04 when we got rid of Ali gross mismanagement was highly likely. This year it's certain.

I can't remember being this apathetic in 2009.

The blame lays squarely with Bluey. This year lays squarely on Bluey.
He's set the club back so far in months, its embarrassing...

It was Elijah Taylor. Are they all thick as pig you know what?

Taylor also missed the tackle earlier in the play which caused the problem. He then went to hide on the wing and f*cked that up too.

I know he racks up big numbers, but if we concede a try anywhere near the middle of the field you can almost guarantee it's Taylor missing the tackle or putting in a weak effort. Going to the wing to f**k up is a new one though.

I didn't rate Kemp, but he seemed to be on a bit of a hiding to nothing with the amount of players leaving well before their contracts were up, the culture in the joint must have been horrid. To Cleary's credit he turned it around, with the ommission of the 2009 season which I can only think the loss of Sonny had a massive mental influence on the squad. I guess Cleary instilled a lot more discipline into the joint on and off the track.

I wasn't clapping or happy with what happened at the end. I had a rye smile because I would say I saw it as inevitable. It was like a horror show, you knew something ridiculous was about to happen and it did. The team in general needs to learn a lot. The Taylor coming off his wing incident at the end does it for me. They're just brainless. Absolutely clueless. The very description of stupidity is to remain failings repeatedly without learning from it. Coming off the wing this year and getting caught short in general has cost the club immeasurably this year. I cannot believe they haven't learnt from it, let alone fixed it.

Thats my problem I guess with McClennan. None of the sins of the past are learned from. Is he an overly stubborn man? He can't be blind to the issues. He's been around too long for that.

Taylor also was lazy in the build up to the Panthers first try. He got skipped and stepped in the middle and Lousi had to cover up for him. I think Elijah's gone backwards this year.

Looks like a few fair weather fans around.....
i don't think that's fair. most of us have stuck around through some horrible times, but the team looked like they wanted better. at the moment it feels like they're not even going through the motions and are counting down.

You're right scurrah should go too for giving bluey a blank chq to f**k things up.

i've been for scurrah and bell both going for a while, I think this game has written blueys fate and IMO players should not get off scot free for allowing that. Bluey has not learnt to adapt from mistakes this year but you can't tell me that mess witnessed today was coached to be like that

I think most remember them, its just the hype around the team for this year after a GF and a supposed SL premiership and Tri-Nations winning coach coming to the club.
Its the fall that hurts.
Most would be gutted with today's result but not like over the past 4 weeks as our expectations are now a lot lower.

i said the same about the parramatta players who sold kearney out. basically showing no respect for the people who pay their wages or for even their own professional reputation. all because they (probably) don't care for the coach.

i think less of them for that than of what we've seen of mcclennans coaching skills.

How didn't he think Luck had that covered?

Get a big white board and write this Bluey

WHO HAS YOUR MAN IF YOU COME OFF THE WING?

then YELL it

Then slam a f**ken door!

I will be interested in Wayne Scurrah's part in replacing Ivan Cleary. Did he 'vouch' for McClennan so to speak? Judging by John Hart's comments there was some clear disagreement on Cleary being allowed to leave. It will be interesting as to what comes out of the review. The one guy I'm losing time for aside from the coach is Dean Bell. To allow so many experienced players to leave at the end of last year and figure 'she'll be right' was farcical at best. He's talked about bringing youngsters through and complimenting them with the best of the best from Australia, yet I don't see that in the signings Bell has been able to conjure up. Suggests to me the strategy may not be entirely realistic. I'm all for junior development, its a credible vision, it'd be more credible in my eyes if the likes of Todd Lowrie were instead a SOO backrower being signed. Surely having the young lads from NZ in the team should free up cash for 4-5 good high quality Australians, not I've been everywhere man type players.
