Agreed.

Some posters on there would go on and on and on and on,like its a school debate or they are entering into politics and miss the point of the topic.

And there were those ones were they couldn't (or wouldn't) simply just have just the one or two responses and leave it as that but have the thread ending up with 1,001 pages of mouth-tennis.

I've got a feeling that PI has closed (or is closing) because of a probability that Gould might be leaving Panthers to coach Easts.

It was extremely controlled and moderated. Given it is an official forum but some times it felt over the top

Yes. If you questioned the team you was wrong as the coach is always right. Every player deserves a spot in the team. Despite us being faillures most years. Every signing you find out here 1st. Despite newspaper articles confirming players over there it was always rumours until they basically turned up to play (Seluini a perfect case)

PI only really got bad in the past year. Before that it wasn't a free for all like LU but they had the balance of tolerance as good as it could be for an official forum.

I think its actually a key reason for the forum dying. Remember that post that went along the lines of "are you interested in having less negativity and more FOOTY"? Throw in promotions for people like Alliecat (can't believe she was in there yesterday defending the change, oh wait, yes i can) and it was obvious what kind of forum it was going to be. I'm sure I wasn't the only one turned off by that.

Sad. One of the first forums I signed up for. Shame for the club too, a huge amount to be said for having an official forum as a direct link to your fans.

I supported both PI and this forum. I don't think PI was so bad. I can totally understand the 'official' censorship so to speak because many posters were very personal in there criticism of individuals and for the most part it is undeserved and unwarranted. Personally I shy away from criticising individuals and there performances because for the most part it is ill informed and frankly BS. One prime example of a player who often the subject of such criticism is David Simmons. Wouldn't matter what this bloke does on the field he will never get a fair go. He arguably had his best NRL season in 2012 and yet there would be few to give credit where credit is due. There are others who cop the same sort of flack no matter how they perform and it is frankly disappointing.

Anyway if PI is to be no more I hope all come accross to this forum and make it something special because we all enjoy to contribute in some shape or form even if it would be nice if most were a little more positive and not so negative.

Made it. Registration was a bit of a bitch (had to wait a day to post anything) but it's all good. PI sucked, can't believe I never found this place before!
