We need 2/3 senior players to stand up per match to go well. Games with Clark, Haddin and co involved we must win due to our seemingly lack of depth

Would Mitch Johnson be playing in this game? How many 1st class games has he played for the state since he moved there in 2008, 4 years ago? Count them on one hand?

I believe he is and yes you can count his appearances for WA on one hand

Hopefully will get down for an arvo session or two

They need a big hundred early on for confidence. Yeah the one dayer was his 1st for WA. Only played 3 or 4 shield games. Hopefully he gets belted

Well he was our best batsmen last season. We have Maddison at 3. Clarke 4. Smith 5. Henriques at 7. They can all move around for the 2nd inns if it doesn't work.

WA batting 2/40 Dougie and Copeland 1 each caught behind. Marsh got 1
