This is a good summary of why people are so disillusioned with the cap. We need consistency.

Also agree with OMC and Speedwagon. Whatever we argue should be handed out for Hindy's book needs to be the same punishment that any other club should get for a similar scenario.

It's just like referees. Bad decisions are somewhat easier to swallow if they are consistently applied in all matches to all teams.

Bad decisions that are seemingly made on an arbitrary basis give everyone the shits. On face value this seems to be a case of the later rather than the former.

The owner of the club he plays for is news ltd and he also has a contract with Fox sports owned by News Ltd. yet this isn't counted in the cap.
Now if Hayne had a contract with the Leagues club who owns the club he plays for it would have to count.
So tell where that is fair?
