Not really in the spirit of things this year. It's my third Christmas abroad but this one feels the hardest. Really missing the family traditions and the family in general.

The girlfriend and I have escaped to tropical Hainan for a few days reprieve from the cold and to distract us both from homesickness. Planning on spending tomorrow getting blasted on the beach before Christmas dinner at a local foreigner bar. Should be good.
